On last night’s episode of Married At First Sight, the couples were still enjoying their honeymoons in beautiful Antigua. Despite the relaxing vacation setting, trouble brews as they begin to learn more about each other’s habits. One couple actually gets into a heated argument when one person ditches their spouse for hours. It’s only a matter of time before the polite personas are traded in for their real personalities. I can’t wait until the couples live together. This is when the drama comes out and I am here for it!
The couples are on day 3 of marriage and are still enjoying their honeymoons. Well, some more than others… Matt Gwynne and Amber Bowles really enjoyed themselves. They have officially consummated their marriage. While others are getting it on, Deonna McNeill is telling her husband, Greg Okotie to stop complimenting her so much. Ummm… okayyyy. I don’t think she explained her point well. The compliments seem less genuine when they happen so frequently. I think for Greg he feels so awkward in these uncharted waters. He uses compliments as a way to connect. Hopefully, this doesn’t blow up into something bigger. I believe Greg and Deonna both like one another. They just need to learn to communicate better.
Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson will need to enjoy the rest of their honeymoon actually getting to know one another. After getting naked on the wedding night followed by a see-through nightie on night one of the honeymoon, Jaime has been cut off. All good things must come to an end. That includes Elizabeth’s period-free vacation! Let’s see if the two have the same chemistry, when it’s not just sexual.

While Iris Caldwell and Keith Manley take a walk on the beach she decides to grill him on why he decided to get married at first sight. Is it just me, or does Keith always have the right answers? He is a very genuine person or well versed in the art of lying to women. Only time will tell, but I do hope he is genuine. I love a good love story…sue me. But then my brain kicks in and laughs at the very thought of that on Married At First Sight.
The ladies get together on the beach to gossip about their marriages while their husbands do the same. Surprisingly, they all have nothing but good things to say about one another. Keith also reveals that his wife is a virgin. Ugh… Keith maybe telling your wife’s sexual history or lack thereof to other men may not be the best idea. You can tell the guys are shocked and relieved they didn’t fall into the same predicament. Greg shares his worries about Deonna being ready to share her life with him after being single for 10 years. I think he has a valid reason to be worried.

Elizabeth and Jaime are the first to have a spat out of all the couples. Apparently, after hanging out on the beach Elizabeth went to take a shower. Jaime didn’t know where his wife was so he decided to enjoy his afternoon alone. After being fed up over waiting for him for over two hours, Elizabeth had lunch by herself. When she returned to the room she is furious that her husband is there and not concerned about her whereabouts. SMH…
First, Elizabeth you should have waited for Jaime on the beach or told one of the other wives your plan to return to the room. Jaime, you should have at least attempted to find your wife before just disappearing for several hours. Well, I guess it’s good that they both found out its triggers sooner rather than later. Jaime seems totally unaffected that Elizabeth is so upset. Even asks her “why should I care”. They both end up realizing it was a misunderstanding and apologize to one another.
Iris and Keith have a conversation about their pet peeves. Ughhh… I’m getting a sneaking suspicion that Iris is going to become annoying. Her lack of relationship experience probably will cause her to question things others may easily let go. In relationships, you can’t sweat the small stuff. Iris complained that Keith seems to check his phone at one set time. Whereas she does it throughout the day, so it seems like it takes longer for him. Personally, I think it shows that he makes their quality time a priority. He is ignoring his phone until a set time when you guys are winding down.

Keith tells Iris he isn’t a morning person like her, so he needs time in the morning to get into the swing of things. Basically don’t try to attempt long conversations, until I have been up for a while. Iris doesn’t seem to like that, but she agrees to give him time. I think Keith’s request is reasonable. I am the same exact way. I wake up early in the morning, but it takes me a little time to be alert enough for full adult conversations. I’m not saying I need hours, but give me 30 minutes before you jump in my face asking me a bunch of questions.
Keith plans a surprise excursion for him and Iris. She is talking nonstop during the ride and actually guesses what he has in store. The two have a great time swimming with the stingrays. Iris seems very impressed that her husband took the initiative to do something nice for her. Aww… I really want this couple to work out.
Amber and Matt take a tour of Antigua. I am happy to see that Amber seems a little less thirsty now that they have had sex. Meanwhile, Greg and Deonna decide to go ziplining. This should be interesting since Greg is deathly afraid of heights. Deonna seems totally oblivious to her husband’s fears. She is screaming “don’t chicken out”, while the guide tells him he is 300 feet in the air. Poor Greg! He finally decides to bite the bullet and just do it. He actually seems to have a good time despite facing his fears.

Iris and Keith enjoy a romantic dinner on the beach. She impresses her husband with her knowledge of dinner etiquette. Meanwhile Matt and Amber frolic on the beach. I can’t help but laugh when I see them. He looks like the Jolly Green Giant in comparison to her 5’2 frame.
Deonna enjoys a massage from Greg on the beach. He is desperately trying to break down her walls and get to know her better. I really like Greg. He seems to genuinely want his marriage to work. Hopefully, Deonna doesn’t make him run for the hills.
Jaime and Elizabeth have dinner and talk about some serious topics. She learns through their conversation that neither of them is in any rush to have kids. Jaime is happy because they share the same mindset. They decide to revisit the conversation in the future. Keith decides to ask Iris some in-depth questions about sex.
He learns that although she has never had vaginal sex, she has had some sexual experiences. Keith assures he cares about her comfort and they don’t need to put a time frame on anything. Hmmm… I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I know at some point this will become an issue between the couple. I guess we have to wait to see the drama unfold throughout the season!
