Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan Edmonds is due for a breather. Seriously. Her marriage to Jim Edmonds is on shaky ground right now.
RHOC viewers watched Meghan go through IVF with little support from her disinterested husband. Meghan finally fulfilled her wish to become a mother when she gave birth to their daughter Aspen in 2016. Then, Meghan and Jim welcomed twin boys, Hart and Hayes, in June of 2018. It looked like Meghan’s life was perfect.
Then her cheating husband was caught in the act…literally. It seems that Jim shared some explicit photos and videos with another woman while his wife was pregnant with their twins. Jim allegedly sent an explicit video on the same day that his wife gave birth to their boys. What a way to commemorate such a momentous day for his family. That is beyond gross!
But don’t worry, the former MLB player was ready to explain away his disgusting behavior. In a statement to US Weekly, Jim stated, “Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment. I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person. At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none.”

Well, that makes everything just dandy! What about the issue of Jim not being able to keep it in his Dad-jeans? “Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife,” Jim added. “I’m outraged over the intent to ruin my family and intend to take legal action.”
I give Meghan credit for not piling her husband’s belongings on the lawn and starting a bonfire. Instead, she shared her feelings in a blog post. The first words were, “I’m sad.” This is tough to read.

Now, it seems like Meghan is trying to make peace with her husband’s betrayal. She posted to Instagram,
“I’ll never wear mom jeans/I’ll never wear 90’s fashion again/I’ll never let my kids on an iPad/I’ll never talk to someone like that/I’ll never… say “never” again/Anything is possible, even the impossible.”
Meghan wrote, “We have no choice but to endure and find beauty in this tragic struggle we call life. We might not always find meaning in trauma but we can find small wins in it. Everything is relative. **Give yourself space to grieve and grace to feel.** I got cha back. #teamLIFE”
I really, really hope the mom jeans comment is a dig at Jim’s favorite dad jean style.

Once the identity of the alleged other woman, and Jim’s sexting partner, was revealed to be Jennifer McFelia Villegas, Meghan again addressed her husband’s inappropriate behavior. In a statement to US Weekly, Meghan said, “I only blame my husband for his actions: he made the choice to betray my trust and jeopardize our marriage. His recklessness also allowed this woman to profit from my heartbreak — but now that her name is out there, she won’t be able to shake down any other families as I rebuild mine.”
Why isn’t Meghan getting ready to slam her sleazy husband with divorce papers?

Besides her marital drama, Meghan has been worried about her son Hart’s health. Hart recently underwent an MRI with both of his parents by his side. The MRI should reveal whether Hart is suffering from a neurological condition.
I feel terrible for Meghan, especially when she has three small children to look after. Maybe if Meghan decides to dump her jackass husband, she could return to RHOC in the future.
