Stop sitting on The Real Housewives of Potomac. These women are SLAYING every week, and the season keeps getting better and better. After last week’s episode, the secret about Ashley Darby’s husband Michael Darby is coming out. FINALLY. This is what we’ve been waiting for. Plus, the last episode had that mega cliffhanger moment.
Candiace Dillard ended the last episode putting a knife in Ashley’s face. However, that isn’t the only drama lurking beneath the surface. Monique Samuels still has to answer to Katie Rost about alleged comments about her. Also, Robyn Dixon will HOPEFULLY tell us which Real Housewives of Potomac husband Michael’s comments were about.
We pick back up at Candiace’s disaster dinner party, and things are a MESS. Karen Huger and Chris Bassett try to comfort Candiace, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
Gizelle Bryant brings up the Michael rumors, but forces Robyn to be the one to say it all. That’s so shady! Robyn finally exposes the secret, but she refuses to reveal who it was about.
Candiace storms back into the kitchen and Ashley brings up the alleged comments about Katie by Monique. Candiace is totally unhinged here. She cannot stop screaming, and Chris is doing all he can to keep her at bay.
Gizelle, Katie, and Ashley head outside which is needed during all the chaos. Gizelle tells Ashley the rumor is that Ashley knew all along and hurried Michael out of the party. Unsurprisingly, Ashley denies that allegation.

Everyone at the table tries to make sense of this Michael bombshell. Ashley comes back inside, and Karen calls Ashley insensitive for coming back into Candiace’s home.
Candiace is still screaming over everyone, but Chris changes everything by speaking up. Chris claims that he also heard Michael’s comment. However, Ashley continues to deny everything.
This dinner party is up there with the RHOBH dinner party from hell. I’m shocked nothing was smashed or broken in the aftermath of this disaster.
Candiace lunges at Ashley for some reason. Thankfully, Chris pulls her away. There’s a lot of anger in Candiace right now. I don’t know where it’s coming from, but she is livid.
Karen advises Ashley to have a conversation with Michael about what’s being said. The group says that being gay is okay, but cheating is never an option.

Candiace throws Ashley out, and everything is so awkward now. Poor Monique looks so hungry! However, before she leaves she has to talk to Katie about THAT messy situation. Katie tries to explain herself, but Monique assures her that her comments were taken out of context.
Candiace realizes Ashley is back inside the house and comes for her again. This night took such a far left turn. Since dinner was never officially served, Katie and Ashley head for McDonald’s.
Candiace breaks down at the table in front of the other women. Why is Candiace so upset here? Something else is bubbling beneath the surface that we aren’t seeing.
Karen says that Ashley was purposely throwing digs at Candiace by bringing up her mother. Candiace has such a crazy reaction when people do it. It’s not healthy.
Katie questions Robyn’s motives for keeping quiet about the Michael comments. It’s weird how long they sat on this before exposing it. Sketchy. Ashley and Robyn have worked hard to get to a place of friendship and civility. This could be a huge setback for all the progress they’ve made.
Katie also flat out asks if Michael is gay or hooks up with men. Katie gets right to the point, and I love that about her. These are the questions that need to be asked, and someone is finally asking them. THANK YOU, KATIE.
Candiace books an appointment for a group therapy session with her mother. This is long overdue. These two have shown signs of an unhealthy relationship for a while now.
I predict many sessions of deep discussion in their future. Hitting your daughter in the face with your purse is unacceptable. Putting your hands on anyone ever is not okay, but this is REALLY bad.

Ashley says Michael is pissed and feels betrayed about the rumors the ladies are spreading. If it’s not true, it would make sense why he’s upset.
Nobody wants rumors being spread about them. The comments are damaging in a lot of ways.
However, if they are true, he could be upset for an entirely different reason. He was drinking quite a bit that night, and he might’ve said some things he would normally not.
Monique tells Chris Samuels about the dinner party, and he has the same reaction as me. That dinner party was nuts. He wonders why they would even bring it up. SAME THOUGH.
Monique says that Michael’s sexuality is not the root of the issue here. The real issue is if he is cheating on her or not.
Ashley and Michael’s relationship is going THROUGH IT this season. It’s coming off as a fraudulent marriage this season more than ever.
Candiace made a good point at the dinner: there’s a lot of smoke. If there’s that much smoke, there’s probably fire, right?
Gizelle checks in on Ashley after what happened at the dinner party. Gizelle brings up Karen’s comments after Ashley left Candiace’s house. Ashley’s shocked. She thought she and Karen were in a much better place, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Gizelle is in full bone collector mode here. Extra extra. She’s spilling every last detail of anyone that anyone said.
She makes a great point in defense of Robyn that makes a lot of sense. She thinks Robyn was just concerned for Ashley regarding this issue. Gizelle doesn’t want to see their friendship ruined over this so she’s going to talk to Robyn.

Candiace and her mom are heading to group therapy, and I’m praying for Candiace. Her mom is a loose cannon and doesn’t treat her nicely at all whatsoever.
If anyone needs therapy, it’s her mom. How in the world is her mom a licensed therapist? Who would actually EVER go to her for any kind of advice and guidance? Hard pass.
They can’t even get along on the car ride over. There’s almost zero chance this therapy session is going better. Her mom doesn’t strike me as the accountability type. I predict a lot of deflection during this session.
Also, how weird is it that she’s using the same therapist as Gizelle? Something about that feels off and weird.
Candiace is really raw and real in this therapy session. You can sense the hurt in her voice. It’s so annoying that her mother can’t even let her speak. She keeps cutting her off to avoid her from getting any point across.
Candiace brings up the purse incident, and her mom instantly denies it. Candiace doesn’t back down, and her mom says “we don’t bring that out”.
She even mocks Candiace for crying during the session. What a mess of a person her mom is.
Also, money doesn’t give you power to do whatever you want. Buying things for your children and paying things doesn’t give you free rein to do anything. What kind of love is that? Just wow.
Candiace says if her mom is going to continue acting like this, she is through. I’m so proud of her for standing up for herself here.

Gizelle and Robyn are heading to support Ashley at her Virginia gay pride performance. They mock the Michael rumors, and condemn Candiace for her knife moment. That was a little scary when she had a knife in her hand. Anger like that and a weapon in hand could’ve ended so badly.
Ashley wonders why Robyn is still coming to her event after what happened at dinner. Why is she so mad though? THAT is the real question here.
Gizelle is the one who forced the conversation at dinner. These ladies are so messy, and I LOVE IT.
Ashley’s performance was fun. Kind of. Ish. Anytime a housewife performs it’s a miracle, but they’re never that great. Ability aside, Ashley’s performance was entertaining to watch.
Ashley confronts Robyn over her comments at dinner, and says she feels attacked. Robyn used Gizelle to deflect in the moment, but Ashley doesn’t care.
She feels Robyn cosigned negative comments about her marriage regardless. Ashley truly believes the comments are untrue and it never happened.
Robyn insists that Michael definitely said it. She also keeps bringing up Robyn’s timing, but Robyn only brought it up after Gizelle forced it. Robyn had no intention to bring up Michael at the dinner, but Ashley’s not listening.
Nothing Robyn says is getting through to Ashley, and Robyn’s so confused.
Ashley storms off, and her friendship with Robyn appears to be finished. This group can never stay in a good place.
