Shep Rose had some choice words for Ashley Jacobs following her return to Southern Charm.
The Charmer let fans know exactly what he thought of Thomas Ravenel‘s on-again-off-again girlfriend popping back up in Charleston to cause drama with his friends.
“I mean, I can’t believe she came back,” Shep told Hollywood Life. “It was just to raise eyebrows, honestly. But that’s okay.”
In this week’s episode of Southern Charm, Ashley made a surprise return at newcomer Eliza Limehouse‘s skeet shooting party — much to the chagrin of the rest of the cast.
After approaching Shep and Craig Conover, the toxic hospice nurse took turns feuding with everyone from Whitney Sudler-Smith regarding her comments about Patricia Altschul to Danni Baird and Kathryn Dennis‘ friend Madison Simon.

Even her attempt at apologizing to Cameran Eubanks and Chelsea Meissner was interrupted by a moment of sweet karma, with Austen Kroll and Naomie Olindo calling out her “crocodile tears” in an epic double-team takedown.
While the rest of the cast continues to hold Ashley to the fire over her behavior last season, Shep sees the drama with T-Rav‘s former flame from a more diplomatic perspective.
“She didn’t do anything to me,” he explained. Shep continued, “She didn’t really do anything to anybody. She just kind of said some vile things, right? So, I mean, if you let someone affect your life, then that’s on you. That’s how I feel about it.”

However, as far as Ashley‘s future on Southern Charm is concerned, Shep thinks it would be best for the show’s villain to cut her losses and leave Charleston behind.
“There’s, I guess, some reconciliation that occurs,” he said, “and she’s her own worst enemy. She won’t back down. If I were her, I would go back to Santa Barbara. What a beautiful city that she’s from. Just go there. Obviously, it hasn’t worked out in Charleston.”
