Vanderpump Rules may have gained a new employee in the form of James Kennedy’s last link to the show aka girlfriend Raquel Leviss, but it appears as though they are losing another.
Billie Lee is leaving. And as with everything else she does, she is turning her leaving into a public service announcement. In a post on her website titled “Two Weeks Notice”, Billie bids adieu to her job at SUR because some of her coworkers were “threatened by her differences.” Umm, I’m not sure that was the reason she couldn’t get along with others.
Billie explains how her dream of having her own talk show led her to LA where she began her transition and eventually “came out” as a trans woman. And the dream of having a platform to spread her message led her to SUR and to her “fairy godmother’ Lisa Vanderpump.

While she was at SUR, she claims she met “some of the most wonderful people, a few in particular that [she] now call[s] family.”
And it was with them she learned to love herself and see how far she could go. However, according to Billie, not everyone was living in the love and light. She felt that some of her coworkers were “going out of their way to exclude [her].” I wonder if this was when Katie Maloney-Schwartz started throwing her Girls Night party and didn’t hand-deliver an invitation to Billie. Which, of course, was because Billie is a trans-woman. Because that is the ONLY possible reason. <eye roll>
Billie also claimed that one of her coworkers demanded she be fired from the show because he was not “gonna lose all [he had] worked hard for for something stupid [he] may say or do to offend her. Are we all supposed to tiptoe around her because she’s trans?”

Billie alleges that the bullying she experienced both on and off=camera led her to back to “depression and suicidal thoughts.” And this led her to the realization that SUR was no longer the place for her.
Billie will, instead, focus her attention on her “anti-bullying campaign” and thanks Lisa for the “opportunity to lead [her] own projects that [we] will see in 2020.”

Good for Billie for dedicating herself to a worthy cause. However, just because some of the cast members at SUR didn’t welcome her with open arms does not make them transphobic. It just makes them bitchy.
TELL US – ARE YOU SAD TO SEE BILLIE GO? DO YOU BELIEVE HER CLAIMS SHE WAS BULLIED BY THE CAST OF VANDERPUMP RULES? WHO DO YOU THINK DEMANDED THAT BILLIE SHOULD GET FIRED FROM SUR?
