Andy Cohen Shares What It Would Take For A Lisa Vanderpump & Kyle Richards Reconciliation To Happen

Even though all of the full-time Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members are on the outs with Lisa Vanderpump, the end of her relationship with Kyle Richards stings the most. They were the two remaining OG cast members. Now, Kyle is the sole original remaining (as a full-time cast member, anyway), with Erika Jayne crowning her as the “queen” of the cast during the Season 9 reunion.

Many fans (adamantly) took sides in the Lisa vs. Kyle feud. Meanwhile, others wanted them to get back to the fun times they use to have teaming up against other cast members. Reunion host and Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen is rooting for a reconciliation and he thinks he know what it will take for them to get back on good terms.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy asked the audience “Is there hope for Kyle and Lisa’s friendship?” While the fans didn’t see that happening, Andy declared, “I think there is.”

That’s when he told guest Denise Richards, “This is why I wanted her to go to the reunion.” Lisa stopped filming in the middle of Season 9. She also claimed that she didn’t watch the show, while commenting on it via tweet almost every week. Her final move as a Housewife was when she announced that she was done with the show and wouldn’t attend the Season 9 reunion taping.

She shared this news with the public before actually telling anyone who worked on the show, i.e. Andy. At the reunion, Kyle theorized that Lisa quit just to prevent getting fired like Adrienne Maloof did after she skipped the Season 3 reunion.

Kyle also weirdly showed up with a birthday gift for Lisa… months after her birthday. Why didn’t she just send it to her home or deliver it in person? That stunt was beyond awkward, and truthfully, pretty thirsty.

Unpopular opinion alert: it never seemed to me that these two were really close friends. It just seemed like they had a leveraged relationship that revolved around filming. If anything, it seemed like more of an alliance in my opinion.

Let’s not forget the cast trip to Dubai when Kyle equated lying for Lisa to being an “abused wife” trying to protect her husband.

Even so, Andy delcared, “I always believe. I always do. I just think they need to be in the same place and sit down and talk.” Right. There’s no chance in hell that it is actually that simple. Lisa wants Kyle to bow down to the “true queen” of the show. Meanwhile, Kyle wants Lisa to take ownership for the puppygate bullshit. It’s very unlikely that either woman will get what they want.
