You know what the Real Housewives Of Orange County cast members have in common? They all have issues. Another link, they focus on the problems of their friends rather than their own. And now we have a show! It’s no secret the freshman year of being a Housewife is rough. Braunwyn Windham-Burke just found herself in the trenches. Someone needs to issue a handbook for new cast members. A specific set of steps to keep one from upsetting Tamra Judge the Elders. Gina Kirschenheiter could have used a guide on her first season. But no, she slighted the Elders with tales of an amicable divorce and a disregard for Jesus. I’m not entirely sure Emily Simpson does enough to irritate anyone except for her twerp husband, Shane.
But back to this year’s fresh meat! Braunwyn is a mom of 7. She has a big house, small waist, and kooky mother. You might think this would grant automatic entry into the tightly knit world of hair bleach and divorce papers (your table is ready, Emily). Not so fast! What the newbie didn’t realize is she must gain permission from an Elder before contacting any former Real Housewives. She has stepped into the land of text receipts and hierarchy. As Braunwyn felt the heat her first time in the hot seat, she… cried. Buck up, Sis, and binge-watch some RHOC shows! Now Braunwyn shares her side of the controversy that caused the Elders much dismay.
Oh Braunwhenyagonnalearn, first time experiencing reality television? Does her mansion have cable? I fail to see the international law Braunwyn defied, but here we go. Braunwyn used to hang with an old friend of Lizzie Rovsek. BFD, right? When Braunwyn’s family moved back to Orange County, she reached out to Lizzie. Somehow this is relevant to Tamra, because she found out about the texts. Tamra feels Lizzie tried to destroy her marriage (which one?) and therefore she is on Braunwyn’s no-contact list.
Strike two for Braunwyn was texting Gretchen Rossi. Can’t she message anyone who likes Tamra? I guess not, no one likes Tamra… Then Braunwyn was interrogated as to why she contacted Gretchen. Sadly, Braunwyn did not say “none of your business”, but she stumbled over her words and fibbed. After saying Gretchen texted her first, Braunwyn was EXPOSED.

In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Braunwyn said, “I’m starting to learn who I can and can’t trust in the group.” Allow us to make it easy for you, Honey. You trust no one. Ever. Maybe your dog and only if it doesn’t know Vicki Gunvalson. She said Tuesday’s episode “was definitely a hard one for me to watch.” If that’s the case, she is in for a bumpy ride.
Braunwyn added, “Being called out as a liar was tough on me.” Ever hear the old saying, “consider the source”? I mean really, it’s Tamra. Maybe Braunwyn could suggest another angle for Tamra. How about Tamra advising her socially unfit son to relocate to Mars? How about forging a relationship with her estranged daughter?

But Braunwyn has remorse, “As much as I regret having coffee one time with a former Housewife when I was first cast on the show and not being forthcoming about it, I don’t regret what came from it. I learned a lot about myself and was able to connect with Tamra and Shannon on a much deeper level…” Sure, Jan.
Connecting with Tamra and Shannon has to be some epic spiritual shit. She needs to call her mom and they can all talk to angels together. Braunwyn added, “There’s more backstory to this, but I never want to be a person that shows private text messages to people. I think it’s a breach of trust and tacky.” YOU THINK? Maybe instead of Emily showing texts she could wake up to the fact that Shane likes house plants more than his wife. And what does any of this have to do with Shannon? Shucks, the world revolves around Shannon. I forgot.

Thankfully the incident was resolved and the participants released their anger in the form of broken hips a dance class. Stay frosty Braunwyn, it’s not over by a long shot.
