Stassi Schroeder may be basic, but she’s never been afraid of causing a stir.
The Vanderpump Rules star stopped by E!’s Daily Pop this week to dish about her book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook, and how it might be received by her castmates and new husband-to-be Beau Clark.
“Honestly I wasn’t really afraid of anyone[‘s reaction],” Stassi said during the interview. “At first I was like, my boyfriend — well now my fiancé — because I was like, ‘I do, like, talk a lot about, you know, people I’ve hooked up with and things like that. But he doesn’t really care.”
As for her fellow SURvers, only one name came to Stassi‘s mind: her former on-again-off-again boyfriend Jax Taylor.

“I think maybe Jax,” she confessed. “I think Jax. Cause, you know, he blocks a lot of people on Twitter so easily and I just don’t like being at the center of his wrath so…”
However, when host Carissa Culiner pointed out Stassi‘s lengthy and volatile history with Jax, the Pump Rules queen bee was quick to concede that she’s perhaps earned a reprieve from her ex-boyfriend’s block button no matter what tea she may spill in the pages of her tell-all.

“I feel like maybe I’m exempt from his anger,” she said. “Because he’s done so much to me in the past that now he’s like ‘Okay I won’t touch her now.'”
Despite her years causing drama in front of the Bravo cameras, Stassi claimed she’s still blown away by the level of success she’s reached lately including sold-out tours for both her book and her hit podcast, Straight Up With Stassi.

“I feel like Madonna or something! I really do,” Stassi said. “It’s crazy, like, I’m just so excited. I mean, I’ve done this podcast for five years and we started off just doing like, ‘Ok we’re gonna do a venue of like 300 people, and that sold out in under, I think, a half an hour. So we got 1500-people venues and I really just want to put on a show.”
For fans who do come see her on tour, the former SURver promised to meet — and hopefully surpass — their expectations of a typical live podcast.

“There’s a huge set that we’ve designed; I have one of my best friends coming and opening and I have Beau there,” she revealed. “I want people to be like, ‘Wow, I just came from a show,’ not just two people sitting down podcasting. It’s an experience.”
