Well, well, what do we have here? Does Kyle Richards have competition for the title of “Queen” on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Is the monarchy about to be overthrown? Let’s face it, the HBIC role is currently held by Kyle, but it seems to be by default. After Lisa Vanderpump quit the show, Kyle was blessed with the queen moniker by Erika Jayne at the Season 9 reunion. However, not one but two new cast members joining the ladies may keep Kyle’s reign brief. Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke are locked in and about to join the wild ride of reality television. At least the newbies are coming on board at the same time, so they have that in common. Another trait they share is being friends with Lisa Rinna.
Ah Rinna, what would we do without you? We would miss your at-home spa treatments. We would suffer in the wake of losing your knee-slapping hilarity. And I would personally miss the occasional appearance of Harry Hamlin. If you recall, Lisa is also old school friends with Denise Richards. They have shared appearances on television shows and maybe a boyfriend as well. This could lead to an interesting dynamic heading into the 10th RHOBH season. Now that Lisa could have a “team”, what does that mean for Queen Kyle? Is there a new sheriff in town after all?
The cast of RHOBH has reunited in New York for Fashion Week. While Kyle is busy sashaying around in the finest textiles India has to offer, the rest of the ladies have stayed active. Now that cameras are finally rolling, fans remain skeptical the show will remain successful in the wake of LVP’s departure. Viewers are hoping Rinna’s friends, Sutton and Garcelle pump up the volume. I suppose a good question would be, do Sutton and Garcelle plan to stay on Rinna’s side of whatever game is played? Some fans think so, and it may shift the power our current sovereign holds.
Entertainment Tonight did an interview with Rinna while she was in New York. Ever since Bravo announced that two of Lisa’s pals are taking a ride on the crazy train, there’s been a bit of chit chat that Lisa is coming in and taking over. Get this, Rinna ALLEGEDLY posted, then deleted, a pic of herself on a throne to Instagram. We see you, Rinna! But according to the mom of two, she isn’t coming for Kyle’s place. All together now, suuuuuuure, Jan!

Rinna laughingly said, “No, I just know everybody!” It’s true, and I bet Lisa knows where a few bones are buried too. I mean, she’s no Camille Grammer Meyer, but I’m willing to give her a shot. Lisa has not been a wallflower in the past, which is exactly what RHOBH needs to keep the drama flowing. And I don’t mean legal issues purposely kept out of the public’s eye. One thing I will say about Lisa is, she seems pretty wide-open. Almost too-wide open at times, but if she had a court case going on, I doubt she would hide in the bushes over it.
Lisa went on to add, “I’ve been in this town 35 years, I know everybody,” she explained. “So, that’s all,” Lisa concluded. Is that all, Lisa? Are you sure? Maybe Rinna has something up her sleeve? If that is true, I wouldn’t be mad at it – not at this point anyway. Now that we know Camille won’t return, can we look to Rinna to start calling people out?

This has been the definition of bizarro week. Some of us are now rooting for Brandi Glanville. A feeling similar to that of “support” has entered a few people’s minds regarding Jim Bellino. And now here I am, looking to Rinna to take on the Galactic Empire with her two new co-stars. Help us Lisa Rinna, you’re our only hope!
