Even though Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor just got married at the end of June, there’s already gossip about the state of their marriage. This is mainly because he doesn’t have his wedding ring on at all times.
Recently, Brittany chimed in on the speculation that their fledgling marriage is already on the rocks.
In an interview with HollywoodLife, Brittany admitted, “I didn’t even know that was a thing. And then my PR told me and I was shocked because it’s so silly. I didn’t even think about it honestly.” Does this mean that she is the only reality TV star who does not have Google alerts set for her name? How did she just find out if haters have been gossiping about his lack of ring for months?
Brittany doesn’t care since she knows where the ring is if it’s not on Jax, which (kind of) makes sense. Brittany said, “Oh no, because I already know, whenever he doesn’t wear [the ring], whenever he goes to gym. So I literally know where his ring is every single time.”

Jax told the website, “I don’t ever wear my wedding ring. I just don’t. I’m not a jewelry guy.” Oh, Jax.
And, apparently, he isn’t the only one in the relationship who’s jewelry averse. Jax shared, “I go to the gym, I’m working in the yard. At my house, my wife doesn’t wear hers either. And my wedding ring is big, so it gets in the way and all that.” Here’s a thought: maybe he should have picked a smaller, more comfortable ring.
