Technically speaking, Real Housewives of New Jersey stopped filming for Season 10. Well, most of the cast members did. However, the legal drama never stops in the Garden State. There’s a new headline about Joe Giudice’s deportation setbacks every other day.
Did you really think that Bravo was going to pass up the chance to exploit this situation to share these raw moments with the RHONJ fans? Of course not. They just brought cameras back in. And now we know why the Season 10 trailer still has not dropped, despite Andy Cohen previously teasing that fans should be on the lookout around Labor Day. Well, Andy, it’s practically October and fans have not seen a single frame of footage. But, at least this makes sense now. Although, I’m still annoyed.
Joe and Teresa Giudice’s legal drama has been a cornerstone of this show. I mean, come on. They delayed Season 7 filming by whole year just to catch Teresa’s return from jail camp. Would any Real Housewives show do that for any other cast member? Let’s not forget that they filmed a multi-episode special with Teresa solely appearing via speakerphone. Yes, they’ve finally rounded out the cast with some entertaining women, but the Giudices are the backbone of this show.
Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga told RadarOnline, “We’re filming right now about it,” when he was asked about the judge refusing to give Joe Giudice a bond.

Now, I’m wondering if that alleged courtroom snub between Teresa and Joe Giudice’s mom and other relatives was filmed. Well, obviously, there were no cameras in the actual court room (or we would be reporting live updates). But, I wonder if Teresa filmed any reaction scenes after she was (allegedly) ignored by her own mother-in-law. Then again, nothing in those reports indicated that Teresa actually made any sort of effort to talk to the Giudice side of the family in return. You get what you give, I guess.
Part of me feels bad that they are continuing to exploit the Giudice family’s suffering for a storyline. And another part of me has been way too invested in this show since day one. It’s that latter part which wins out in my mind. I hate to admit it, but I want to see as much as I possibly can.
