When I think about Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashlee Holmes, a few things come to mind. First off, I get secondhand embarrassment for how she mistreated her mother back in her teenage years. Nevertheless, it seems like she’s grown up a great deal. Or at least I hope so. Then, I think about her changing her name from “Ashley” to “Ashlee,” wondering if that was inspired by Ashlee Simpson.
But, the standout memory was that Season 2 country club brawl on Real Housewives of New Jersey. Teresa Giudice famously told Danielle Staub not to call her “honey.” Jacqueline screamed about reading Danielle’s court records. And, it all came to climax when Ashlee pulled on Danielle’s extensions. Danielle moved forward with legal action. She even claimed that Ashlee typing the word ” bye” on Facebook was a threat. Danielle actually brought a mannequin head with extension to the RHONJ Season 2 reunion to reenact the incident. Now, Jacqueline is drawing some parallels between that iconic hair-pulling incident and the Season 10 scene when Danielle appears to do the same thing to Margaret Josephs.
After seeing the Season 10 trailer, Jacqueline tweeted, “It’s interesting to me that Danielle Slob prosecuted my 18 year old daughter for pulling her weave when she, as an ADULT, ripped out @MargaretJosephs hair in a tantrum. God I hope Margaret brings a mannequin head to the reunion to demonstrate the attack and sues her ass.”
A “fan” responded, “The difference is ur beast of a daughter attacked Danielle from behind marg and her we’re obviously fighting face to face.” This prompted Jacqueline to clarify, “My daughter was also told by someone there that DS hit her mother. I’m sure if water being thrown at you is upsetting you’d be more upset if someone got your mother.”

When someone else pointed out that Ashley Ashlee was technically an adult at 18, Jacqueline tweeted, “An adult in high school. Isn’t DS like 60???”
Another Twitter user shaded Ashlee while applauding Danielle’s parenting. This person wrote, “You guys are here criticizing @daniellestaub but she raised two beautiful college graduates with great moral standards. her girls never got into a fight or have I ever heard anyone say something bad about them. Let it go and move on with your life Jac.” And, yes, Jacqueline made the time to respond to that tweet as well.

Jacqueline replied, “Her kids are like that in spite of her not because of her. Do you really think they wanted to grow up to be a prostitution whore like their mother?” Ah, the Season 1 throwback reference. What a simpler time that was.
Another “fan” asked Jac, “Why you always try to stay relevant but talking about the show that you got fired from?” In response, the RHONJ OG declared, “I wasn’t fired. I left. And I’m ALWAYS relevant.” Girl, you were demoted to a Friend of the Housewives and quit. It’s really all semantics. Fired or not, “always relevant” is a bit of a stretch. But then again, I did just write this article about your tweets. I see your point, Jacqueline.
