Ashley Martson and Jay Smith are the supremely dysfunctional couple on 90 Day Fiance that extended their fifteen minutes of fame by exploiting their behavior. During their time on the show, Ashley filed for divorce not once, but twice. She withdrew the petition after two weeks, only to reapply a few months later. Those papers, filed in April, have yet to be signed by Jay.
Any subsequent news about the couple had more to do with Jay’s time in ICE custody and his new relationship. Ashley attended some events, but relatively speaking, kept a low profile. However, fans of the show know that, in terms of tabloid fodder and fans’ guilty pleasure in reading it, aren’t these two just better together?
Ashley and Jay thought so too apparently. This time, they did not publicize that they got back together. But Ashley did make it a point to share the reason why they split. And, spoiler alert, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.
According to an article from E! News, Ashley shared the news on her Instagram with a series of wedding photos. The text reads, “#LinkInBio…I am frustrated and disappointed to reveal we got back together recently. And we have now split again and the reason is truly shocking and shows repetitive behavior. The #LinkInBio has the entire story and my full statements.”

Ashley went into further detail on her Instagram Stories saying, “Saddened to reveal we got back together AGAIN and now have split AGAIN…Swipe up for my statement/exclusive interview.” She claimed that, “after officially getting back together again, I hear Jay got ANOTHER girl PREGNANT.”
There was speculation that Jay had gotten his previous girlfriend pregnant. That doesn’t have anything to do with Ashley. Jay has cheated on her in the past, but this time, if what she is saying is true, Jay cheated again and got the other woman pregnant.

Ashley told In Touch Weekly, “I am distraught yet again and am picking up the pieces and doing my best to move one. I know that I only have myself to blame for the situation I’m in again. It’s no one’s fault but my own. I can safely say I am, once and for all, done with Jay.”
Skeptical fans will call this another publicity stunt. If Ashley was hoping for more tabloid exposure, she certainly got it. Time will tell if she is truly done with Jay this time.
