The PR machine is out in full force! Now that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can’t blame all of their issues on Lisa Vanderpump, the cast has been riding a wave of togetherness. Since filming began on Season 10, the ladies have enjoyed the launch of Kyle Richards’ epic caftan collection. The group has bonded over the impending arrival of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s new storyline baby girl. And let’s not forget the joy they have experienced at welcoming two newcomers to the coven team.
Cue the record scratch because all might not be well in the Beverly Hills hood. Many viewers are crying foul and Bravo is crying tears because of an alleged drought of drama. Thankfully Erika Jayne is on the media stroll, and wants fans to know there is drama. But it’s meaningful drama…
As LVP sits on a mountain of money, opening new restaurants, some of her former co-stars have been battling to save what’s left in their bank accounts. But according to Dorit Kemsley, that is complete nonsense! Have we become innocent victims of #fakenews? Not if we look at court documents, but we’ll never hear about it on RHOBH. Money issues are so gauche, darling. Okay, but what about the other problems the show might be having? You know, the one about the lack of action. The absence of theatricals. In other words, it is BO-RING. And the big guns have been called in. Camille Grammer recently said she’s coming back. Yesterday we learned Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards have filmed for the new season. Even Eileen Davidson dared to have a glass of wine in Brandi’s general vicinity for the sake of the show.
So what’s really going on? Erika appeared on The Real and gave an update on how things are progressing with the camp so far. OK! Magazine shared the scoop. When questioned if the rumors about everyone getting along were true, Erika said confirmed it’s all love and light, “Isn’t that terrible?” she joked. Yeah, honey, it might be. Because it sounds like images of Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna riding rainbow unicorns of happiness and glee aren’t too pleasing to the executives.

Then Erika explained just because no one is fighting doesn’t mean there isn’t drama. Because there TOTALLY IS DRAMA happening, you guys. But this time the drama hurts! Erika shared, “There is conflict. Here is the thing, We’re not finished shooting and we’re getting ready to go on our trip,” she said. Ah yes, the dreaded cast trip. Where rich people put on make-up and fly to faraway lands to fight over dinner. Erika continued, “Things are bubbling and loving one another makes it harder when you do have a disagreement. It’s honest.”
So that’s what it is. It’s a love fest, so the drama is even more painful to deal with. As for being honest, I guess there’s a first time for everything! E! News caught up with Erika on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards and once again she was asked about the scary rumor of everyone getting along. With her trademark smirk Erika replied, “Well, I don’t think ‘they’ were there last week, so yeah, I don’t know about that.” What is this? Is Erika alluding to trouble in paradise? Did Camille finally show up? Also, did Erika have to lose 20 inches of her hair because her glam squad wasn’t paid quit?

I’m sure by the close of the week reports will be coming out about Kyle attempting to behead Rinna in some kind of Machiavellian plot to exert power. Or maybe Teddi will use the magic of her unborn baby to somehow cure the heartbreak of psoriasis or put an end to world hunger. Until then, we will sit back and wait watch to see if the old cliché stands and nice girls really do finish last in the ratings.
