Meghan Edmonds and her soon-to-be-ex-husband Jim Edmonds sure love talking to the media, don’t they? Ever since Jim filed for divorce, there have been damning accusations on both sides. Meghan responded to Instagram users wondering if Jim had an affair with their nanny Carly Wilson with a confirmation. She also blamed his mother for Jim’s sexting scandal from a few months ago.
Jim spoke out against Meghan and referred to Carly as a “daughter,” which was all sorts of weird, especially if the affair allegations are true. He also called the cops when she returned home from a night home with her friends. Jim’s daughter Hayley Edmonds said the whole family was waiting for this divorce. Jim’s second ex-wife, Meghan will be number three, even chimed in about the “nightmare” the family endured during the marriage. Now, Meghan is sharing her opinion in response to Jim saying Carly is “like a daughter.”
In an interview with Us Weekly, Meghan said, I thought the point of a nanny is for them to act as if our children are her surrogate children while we are away, so his statement describing her as a daughter was confusing to me. My husband has seven children so I don’t understand why or how he’d see a hired childcare provider as an additional child.” Damn, Meghan.
She had more to say though. Meghan said, “To call her a daughter flagrantly crosses the lines of a professional relationship with respectable boundaries. I understand that to bring a nanny into our home is to embrace them as a member of our family in some ways, but the ‘daughter’ reference is still perplexing.” She makes some great points, but come on. This is far from the worst of their problems. Girlfriend needs to pick her battles more wisely. She has way bigger fish to fry.

Get ready for this one. Meghan is majorly backtracking. After publicly stating that Jim cheated on her with the nanny in the comments section of her own Instagram post, Meghan has a new spin on that. She told Us Weekly, “I only ever privately alleged that Carly and my husband had an inappropriate relationship. It was Carly, Jim, and Jim’s daughter Hayley who repeated references such ‘allegations’ in the media and blew up this story. This is the very first time I have spoken to the media in the wake of this devastating scandal.” Again, Meghan, look at your own comment section.
But then, Meghan brought up another great point. She told the magazine, “Also, is it kind to secretly hang out with your boss’ husband at a bar until 1:30 a.m. and then delete all texts between the two of you? Is that putting my children first?” No, it is not.

While Jim does have seven kids, the three that he shares with Meghan are babies who can’t read about the scandal…. until they grow up that is. These two should really fight things out in private. Their kids are probably going to read all about this one day. Nevertheless, I doubt they’re gonna quiet down any time soon.
