Reality TV lovers know that the best people to watch on screen are those that show us the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between about their lives. Some fan favorites, however, manage to get away without showing much about their personal lives. I’m looking at you, Cameron Eubanks.
Other Bravolebrities face harsh consequences for not showing parts of their personal relationships on screen. Remember what happened to Kenya Moore when she refused to let cameras film her wedding to Marc Daly? Now the tables have turned and Kenya is talking a whole lot about Marc this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Vanderpump Rules star, Lala Kent is another reality star that seems to get away with leaving out personal parts of her story on screen. This is all about to change!
Lala’s fiancé, Randall Emmett will make many appearances on Season 8 of Pump Rules. This is after years of him not being named and/or not being shown on screen. So, what could have happened to make I’m Sorry Fofty him change his mind?
In an exclusive interview with Page Six from Bravo Con, Lala shared that she actually has, “no idea,” why Randall had a change of heart about appearing on Pump Rules. I’d bet that the answer has to do with pressure from other cast members and production of the series, but what do I know? Lala continued saying, “I honestly think since last season he was like, ‘We need to show people what our relationship is really like.’”

Lala also colorfully added, “I’m the type of person, I make jokes about like blowjobs and BJs on the PJ — that’s just my sense of humor. I’m all talk. No, no bite. I think now people will be like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ Our dynamic is totally aligned. We mesh perfectly together. And that’s all I want people to see is like, this is who I am with my partner.” Alright, this should be interesting.
What is also interesting is that in another interview with Us Weekly, Randall had a different response. He shared with the magazine, “[Lala] had to do a lot of begging.” He continued, explaining, “here’s the thing, for three seasons she asked politely slash begged, and then we got to a point where we decided, she said, ‘Look please, it’ll be a nice thing to show who we really are.’ And … Lala gets her way. There you go.” I believe this statement more than anything. But I also think that producers were putting the pressure on. Pump Rules premieres January 7.
