Turning 18 is a milestone for most teens. They can vote, get their driver’s license (depending on the state laws, of course), go off to war, start college, and… get their lips done. Wait. What? That wasn’t on your list of milestones? Mine neither.
Well, Kim Zolciak recently revealed that it was on her daughter Ariana Biermann’s. Of course, doing this is totally her prerogative. It’s just not a typical rite of passage for teens. Then again, this is the norm on Don’t Be Tardy.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, KZB shared, “I think [Ariana has] been dying to be 18 so that she could do something like that or do her lips or do whatever – she’s been dying to be 18.” Oh, girl.
Kim theorized that fans can’t accept seeing Ariana’s grown-up appearance because she’s been on television for so many years. Kim said, “She’s been on camera since she was four years old. She was four on Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

In regard to lip fillers specifically, Kim said Ariana is “blessed in that arena, but, you know, after watching Brielle [Biermann] and I, she’s probably a little bit more motivated.” I don’t know if “motivated” is the word I would use in this instance, but OK.
The RHOA alum revealed, “Until you’re 18 you can’t do anything and that’s kind of been the rule in my house, so she turned 18 a month ago, so we’re doing OK.”

Aside from following in Kim and Brielle’s cosmetically enhanced footsteps, Ariana recently wore Kim’s Playboy bunny Halloween costume. You know, a typical mother/daughter hand-me-down item, right?
Kim told Entertainment Tonight, “[Ariana] had a Halloween party and she was like, ‘Mom, I need one of your costumes, like, what am I going to do?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know. What do you want? I don’t really dress up, sweetie. All I have is that Playboy costume,’ and she’s like, ‘I’ll try it,’ and it worked. And so it wasn’t like she had planned for it, but it worked out and she looked great in it.”
