Meghan Edmonds has had a rough year. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum dealt with a sexting scandal because her husband, Jim “Dad Jeans” Edmonds was caught with his pants down. But don’t worry–Jim assured the world that he didn’t technically cheat. Sure, Jim.
Meghan also alleged that Jim was cheating with their nanny. Then Meghan received some more devastating news. According to Radar Online, one of the couple’s twin sons, Hart, was diagnosed with Periventricular leukomalacia (PVL). It is a type of “irreversible brain damage.” The former RHOC star has been devoted to getting Hart the early intervention that he needs.
But the hits kept coming. US Weekly reported that Jim filed for divorce on October 25, which was one day after the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary. The police were called after the estranged couple got into an argument.
According to In Touch Weekly, in late November, Meghan and Jim agreed to a 50/50 custody arrangement for their three children. Meghan was not happy about this agreement.
Meghan was even slammed by her 22-year-old stepdaughter Hayley Edmonds. Let’s just say that Hayley is not a fan of Meghan. In late October, Hayley told US Weekly, “The selfishness is miserable for anyone to be around, let alone to be married to her. My whole family has grown closer because we have all had to stay silent in hopes to protect my dad and no one can do it anymore,” Hayley explained. Please, Hayley–tell us what you really think!
And now we have a tale of a Grinchy Christmas diss courtesy of Hayley. RadarOnline reported that Hayley posted a photo to her private Instagram account of all her siblings, including Meghan and Jim’s 3-year-old daughter Aspen, and 1-year-old twins Hayes and Hart. Hayley’s holiday spirit disappeared when a follower wrote, “I miss Meghan on this beautiful photo.” Another fan commented, “Me too I feel so bad for her. She has to see these videos and the house she dream (sic) up and now it’s rubbed in her face. I like Jim too. I just feel so bad for her.”

Hayley’s response was ice-cold. “Actually just so you know my dad designed, decorated and ‘dreamed up’ this house all by himself. It was his dream to be able to have all his kids here and thankfully we are all welcome now,” Hayley wrote. Ouch! “And the house is his own dream come true that he worked his a** for. Unfortunately, the life is different than what he imagined but we are all happy healthy and enjoyed the heck out of his house and spending quality time together.”
Meghan detailed her Christmas on Instagram, and let’s just say it didn’t go according to plan. “When your twin boys are screaming and the alarm ***silently*** has been going off since 6am… but you’ve been helping Santa with duties/aka installing — literally–a new play room, and didn’t get to sleep till 2am; stressing out your kids don’t see the “big gift” right away, “ Meghan wrote. “putting your premade casseroles in the oven 1.5 hours late then forgetting you have to cook a special syrup even though you still haven’t brushed your teeth/hair but your entire family is over –each looking like a snack bc they prepared properly– and hungrily awaiting their promised breakfast.”
Let’s hope 2020 brings Meghan some peace.
