The world is still in shock of the news of Kobe Bryant’s passing yesterday. Aside from the loss of a basketball legend, there were eight others in that helicopter. The victims included Kobe’s daughter Gigi, who was just thirteen.
Gigi’s teammate Alysa Altobelli and her parents John and Keri Altobelli were on the helicopter. Mother and daughter Sarah and Payton Chester died in the crash. The pilot, Ara Zobayan, was lost in the crash. Christina Mauser was the ninth person who died in the awful incident. Christina had been a basketball coach in the Orange County area, who has also coached Shannon Beador’s three daughters, Sophie, Adeline, and Stella.
Yesterday, Shannon shared a photo with Christina and her girls suited up in uniform with an emotional caption. The Real Housewives of Orange County star wrote, “Christina Mauser. An incredible coach and amazing influence on all three of my daughters that played basketball in middle school. And amazing mother of 3 children. Our greatest sympathies go out to @sinatrabigband and his family. The Beador girls are devastated. Sending our prayers to the Mauser family…” It is really truly awful.
In the comments section on that Instagram post, Shannon wrote, “Oh wow. She was an incredible woman. All 3 of my girls adored her…”

Shannon also commented that Christina was “an incredible lady with 4 children.”
It really shows you how precious life is. Yesterday was such a great lost for so many people.
