Don’t get me wrong, it was a very dark era on Real Housewives of New Jersey when Melissa Gorga joined the show. She and Joe Gorga feuded with Teresa Giudice for years and they all went low with their antics. But, at least that was genuine. What do we have now in comparison? A whole lot of fakery.
Last season, Melissa’s whole storyline was about a psychic, that we never saw on camera, who supposedly said that she might have another sister. This sister never materialized and the whole story was a major stretch, yet she’s a full-time cast member on this show. This season, Melissa is pretending she wants to have another baby is pondering having another baby. It just feels so forced, even more so than the Envy apparel that she makes sure to wear in every single scene and Instagram post.
Even though it just seems like Melissa and Joe talked about the baby on the show for a storyline, Melissa has actually made some moves toward that possibility- aside from that sperm check that revealed Joe had three little swimmers down there. They blamed that on some CBD cream. Sure, Jan.
Melissa dished on the possibility of baby number four on The Wendy Williams Show this morning. She told Wendy Williams, “If I do decide to do it, it would have to be through in vitro because my tubes are tied. And I would probably use a surrogate.”

Wendy asked, “Do you have eggs in the petri dish?” That’s when Melissa revealed, “I don’t, but I’m in the process of… I’m gonna freeze my eggs. Just in case.”
Wendy wondered, “What does your fourteen-year-old say about this?” Melissa admitted, “She thinks I’m nuts.” That’s when Wendy shared, “I’d be pissed.” Melissa confirmed, “She’s pissed. She’s like ‘No.’ That’s kind of what’s been talking me out of it.” And the fact that she probably wasn’t actually considering it in the first place and just did this for a storyline. Melissa added that her mother and sisters are “like ‘Are you out of your mind?'”

Wendy asked, “What are you doing?” And Melissa continued to promote that storyline, telling the talk show host, “I know, I know. I have a set up so good now, I work so much now. I’m looking into it. You’ll see how it ends up and what I decide. We show the whole process on the show.”
We all know how it ends up: no fourth baby, but we will continue to hear more than we ever wanted to know about Joe Gorga’s “Tarzan” and Melissa’s store with some Teresa shade thrown in, aka business as usual. Next fake storyline, please.
