I have been feeling bad for Teresa Giudice this season on Real Housewives of New Jersey. The majority of the phone calls from her estranged husband Joe Giudice have been insulting. He is hanging out in Italy awaiting the final decision in his deportation case. So, he called Teresa to tell her that no one will want her because she has too much baggage. And that he didn’t even want to get married. Isn’t he charming?
In December of 2019, reports surfaced that Teresa and Joe Giudice had finally decided to separate after 20 years of marriage, (and tons of cheating rumors.) Joe Giudice was filmed hanging with several women in bathing suits during a trip to Mexico.
On a recent episode of RHONJ, Teresa finally admitted to the cast that Joe Giudice cheated on her when their daughter Gia Giudice was 3 years old. Her husband even had a separate cell phone to talk to his mistress. But Teresa chose to believe his denials.
In an interview with US Weekly on February 18, Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, spoke out about Teresa and Joe Giudice’s marriage. “I think they should have been separated sooner,” Joe Gorga shared. “She should have moved on much sooner.” Teresa’s brother added, “They’re done. That ship has sailed.” He also said that there is “zero chance” that the couple will get back together.

Joe Gorga put all the blame on Joe Giudice. “It’s over. He didn’t know how to act. If he acted right, maybe,” Joe Gorga told US Weekly. “I believe if he came out and was so apologetic and showed her so much love and just was different– and he wasn’t that man that he was before. Like that rough man, ‘I don’t care, I didn’t want to marry you anyway.’ I think she probably would have given him a second chance.” After experiencing her freedom during her husband’s incarceration, I don’t think Teresa would take him back.
“Because you know, you’re keeping your family together. It’s hard out there being single and you’re bringing somebody else in the house, it’s different. She would have done something, but he just came out wrong– completely wrong,” Joe Gorga explained.

Joe Gorga isn’t the only member of his family to comment recently about Joe Giudice. According to HollywoodLife, on February 6, his wife Melissa Gorga called into Jonathan Cheban’s Foodgod podcast and threw some premium shade in her brother-in-law’s direction. “We were never besties… I never thought he was the greatest,” Melissa revealed. “My husband unfollowed him on Instagram because he thinks [Joe Giudice is] crazy on Instagram.”
While I feel for Teresa and Joe Giudice’s four daughters, I believe that many RHONJ viewers think that his behavior is just plain crazy–Instagram included.
