During the finale part of the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10 reunion, Danielle Staub made her “final” appearance as a (part-time) cast member. During that same appearance, she also admitted that she would probably be back. In actuality, she’s hoping she can weasal her way back into the fold somehow.
She also denied being a “rat” because she told Melissa Gorga that Teresa Giudice is the one who encouraged her to pull on Margaret Josephs by her ponytail. Instead, Danielle focused on the semantics. She told the cast and Andy Cohen “ratting somebody out is somebody who goes to prison and gets arrested because someone ratted them out.” That doesn’t quite make sense, but that really is what she said. In an Instagram Story after the reunion aired, Danielle wrote “I broke noting.” I’m assuming she meant to say “I broke nothing.”
She continued, “The real ‘rat’ is on the other couch, as I mentioned the ‘definition of a rat’… nobody picked up what I was putting down.”

Well, let’s break this down. Who was on the “other couch” that Teresa was not on? Melissa, Margaret, and Jackie Goldschneider. Melissa was the only one who was around back in the day. Well, except for Jackie fanning out Teresa’s book signings.
Seemingly, Danielle is implying that Melissa is a rat and that she had some hand in putting Teresa and Joe Giudice in the jail. When it comes down to it, it doesn’t matter if someone “ratted,” the Giudices were engaging in legal activity regardless. Still, if a family member was involved as a “rat,” that would have to sting.

But, if this was actually true, wouldn’t Danielle say this a long time ago in her quest to get some attention? Does she have any sort of proof? Why was she being so vague at the reunion?
