Recently, Melissa Gorga celebrated her birthday, while self-isolating due to the current state of the world, of course. However, she did ask for one thing from her Instagram followers: prayers for Nonno.
Melissa posted, “Thanks so much for all your Birthday wishes. What I really want from all of you is a couple extra prayers for this guy. He’s the best soul. #thankyou.”
In response, Joe commented, “He is the strongest man I know. Sacrificed everything for his family.” Jackie Goldschneider commented, “Sending love and prayers to Nonno.”

We’ve heard bits and pieces about Nonno’s health in recent months. In November, Teresa left an appearance at BravoCon in New York to be in the hospital with Nonno.

At the time, Teresa shared a video of an ambulance on her Instagram Story, which is sad for many reasons, but it also shows the times we are living in where receipts (or proof) are always asked for.
Along with the ambulance video, Teresa wrote, “Sorry, BravoCon fans. I had to leave. My dad doesn’t feel well. I’m taking him to the hospital.”

People reported that Teresa spoke about her dad’s health during a panel at BravoCon. Teresa reportedly told the panel audience, “He’s not doing that great. His breathing is still bad.”
On a March episode of the Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino podcast, Jackie shared, “Teresa’s father hasn’t been feeling good, so I’ve been checking in with her. We don’t talk on the phone, but we text each other and we’re really, really cordial.”
