Jim and Meghan Edmonds just keep getting nastier in their divorce battle. There is just so much to unpack here. Somehow, they didn’t split up when Meghan found out Jim was sexting another woman while she was in labor with twins. Then, there were accusations that Jim got with their nanny. Then, things got really strange with their back and forth.
Jim accused Meghan of acting irresponsibly when she traveled out of state with their kids during the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Meghan accused Jim of partying in Nashville during the pandemic. Jim ended up testing positive for coronavirus. Meghan publicly dished on having a threesome with Jim while they were still together. Now, Jim is dating the woman from the threesome.
The latest issue has to do with money because it always comes back to money, doesn’t it? Page Six reported that Meghan wrote this comment on Instagram, “Girl I have a career thank you very much! That child support is not buying me gold and baubles — it barely pays for groceries for my tribe!” As far as that career goes, she does have a podcast…. just like pretty much every other reality TV star. However, that wasn’t the stand-out part of her IG comment. Jim is miffed about the child support dig.
Jim’s rep spoke to Page Six and countered Meghan’s remark with some super shady quip. He told the outlet, “We’re not going to give numbers because it’s no one’s business, but if what Jim is giving to Meghan each month for child support doesn’t cover her groceries, she must be getting her eggs from Fabergé.” I would love to know how much Meghan is getting in child support though.

Jim’s rep added, “Jim also pays every single bill for both of her homes, all the medical bills and practically every other expense related to the kids and the houses. Jim continually goes above and beyond what he is required to do.” Plus, I can’t imagine Meghan’s new podcast career is bringing in enough cash to pay the bills on multiple homes.
He added, “Meghan’s comments are an insult to all the single mothers who are genuinely struggling financially and working multiple jobs to make ends meet.” Oh damn. It’s on.

The statement concluded, “Someone also needs to tell Meghan that child support is not for gold and baubles.” Just imagine when their three kids grow up and end up reading about all of this drama. Hopefully, Meghan and Jim get their shit together soon.
