Bravo has been talking the talk with its support for the Black Lives Matter movement and, now, the network is finally walking the walk. Former Vanderpump Rules cast member Faith Stowers revisited a 2018 incident where Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute bragged about calling the cops on her and accusing her of drugging men and stealing from them. The news made headlines years ago, but Stassi and Kristen were not reprimanded for their actions. Additionally, Candiace Dillard slammed Stassi for her 2017 comments complaining about African Americans who wanted to be represented in the film industry. Yes, she actually had a problem with this.
Stassi and Kristen apologized for calling the cops on Faith, but it wasn’t enough. They’ve been fired from the show along with newbies Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. The two of them faced scandal in January 2020 when racially insensitive tweets from years prior resurfaced.
Bravo issued the following statement to Variety: “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules.”
FINALLY! The network/production company is actually practicing what they’re preaching. As of this moment, none of the ousted cast members have commented on their firings. Most likely, they’ve either been dropped by their PR/management team, like Stassi was.

Or whoever they’ve hired is working on some type of statement about growth, learning lessons, and moving forward. Racism is not acceptable. It should be that simple. Of course, we hope that the four of them have genuinely learned from their actions and they’ve made an effort to learn and change their habits in a GENUINE way. However, it doesn’t really make sense to reward their behavior with a reality TV contract.
It’s gonna be a real struggle for Stassi and Kristen to keep up with the mortgage payments on those new homes. Stassi’s sponsors dropped her and now the Bravo checks are done. It will be very interesting to see what Stassi, Kristen, Brett, and Max do from this point forward.
