Malia White is back on Below Deck Mediterranean this season and has strictly sworn off getting into another “boatmance” this time around.
In a recent interview, the newly-promoted bosun looked back on her Season 2 fling with Adam Glick. She also offered her take on the chef’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht romance with Jenna MacGillivray.
“Yeah, I’ve caught bits and I’ve heard a lot,” Malia told host Megan Segura on a recent interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish about whether she watched the sailing-centric spinoff.
However, she firmly revealed she doesn’t keep in contact with her former flame, even if she does have some opinions about his rocky relationship with Jenna. “I dodged a bullet maybe? Or I tried to do so,” she said with a laugh.

Malia went on to dish about how much the concept of the “boatmance” has changed since her first season on Bravo. “I don’t know, I got so much flak for kissing a guy [in Season 2]. Now, people are, like, hooking up all over the boats and stuff. It’s like, come on.”
But seriously though, Jenna and Adam‘s habit of sleeping — and arguing — in the master cabin between charters? Not to mention their constant PDA in the galley? Talk about seriously crossing the line of professionalism on…literally every level. Double standard, much?

“There’s a couple sides to Adam, I guess. And I think we’re seeing them now,” the Below Deck Med bosun also told The Daily Dish. “I think the master cabin rendezvous are pretty funny. But other than that, I think there’s a good side on him somewhere.”
In another relationship update, Malia revealed “yachting got in the way” of her romance with Sirocco bosun Wesley Walton. “It lasted quite a while,” she said of the relationship. “And then we both got on two boats going opposite sides of the world. I was headed to the South Pacific and he was headed to the Arctic.” Despite the break-up, Malia did assure fans that the pair are “still friends and we keep in touch.”

And while she may not keep in touch with Adam, Malia kept it classy when asked about her feelings for the prickly chef nowadays. “I wish him well…” she said. “I have no hard feelings towards Adam. I think there’s definitely a good guy in there somewhere. We just don’t keep in touch.”
