It’s been years since Heather Dubrow has graced our screens on Real Housewives of Orange County. Truth be told, I didn’t love her on the show, but now I really miss her. I miss how she stayed on the outskirts of most of the drama but always managed to be a part of it anyway. I miss her blatant self-absorption over the building of her mega-mansion. Hell, I even miss her telling Shannon Beador, “We’re done, please leave.” It wasn’t her best moment, but it was one of her brightest.
While she has made appearances on husband Terry Dubrow’s hit show, Botched, she’s (mostly) quiet. Unbothered if you will. Ok, so there was an assistant scandal thrown in there. Rich people problems, ammirite? And well, they did catch major heat for selling overpriced hand sanitizer during a pandemic. Not cool. But she’s trying to focus on other things, like casting for a new series with Terry. When other former housewives cling to their past glory, Heather stays in her lane.
A huge part of that lane includes being a mother. I always loved how Heather interacted with her kids on the show. Both she and Terry seemed genuinely loving and caring, despite their busy schedules. Heather even left her acting career to stay home and raise her kids. I mean, it wasn’t the most illustrious career but it was a career nonetheless.
Now Heather is showing her true colors and they are really heartwarming. Her daughter, Max, recently came out as bisexual on Instagram. And the family came out in full force to support her. Heather reposted Max’s post to her own Instagram. Her caption reads, “I love you my beautiful, hilarious, amazing child! I am SO proud to be your Mother!” She also included a bunch of pride flag emojis.

Heather also took the time to comment on Max’s post directly saying, “Love you my baby”. Terry wrote, “Proud of you. You do the DNA so well.” Max’s twin brother, Nick, commented, “Love you.” It’s nice to see the whole family coming together to show so much love for Max. And that support is well deserved.
During these trying times, where so many Orange County ladies are causing controversy (AHEM, Kelly Dodd), it’s nice to see something wholesome. And Heather and Terry are proving that they are the parents we all knew they were. Sweet, loving and supportive. Now….can we bring Heather back to RHOC? Please?
