When Vanderpump Rules viewers first met Danica Dow last season, she was venting about getting suspended as the assistant manager of SUR after she fought her on-again-off-again boyfriend Brett Willis after he suggested having a threesome.
That sounded like the beginning of an interesting storyline. However, we pretty much only saw Danica serve as a sounding board for Dayna Kathan’s love triangle and whatever Scheana Shay had going on throughout thee season. Yeah, she got into that fight during the season finale and she had that beef with recently fired cast member Max Boyens. However, other than that, her scenes were seemingly left on the cutting room floor.
Well, according to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Danica filed a domestic violence restraining order against Brett (not the recently fired Brett Caprioni).
E! News obtained the temporary restraining order petition. Danica asked for the restraining order to be served “as soon as possible,” emphasizing that “this is urgent for safety reasons.”

She also claimed that he broke into her home in the middle of the night, cutting up all of her clothes with scissors, left threatening notes, and stole one of her phones. Not the point, but why does she have more than one phone?
Danica claimed that Brett, “has a history of being physically, and verbally abusive. He has threatened me multiple times before.”

Brett gave his own statement to E! News, saying, “I want to handle this amicably. We got in an argument at a house party. We’re around a lot of her girlfriends and I’m sure it looked like I was the bad guy.”
Brett insisted, “It was nothing physical, but it was an aggressive argument on both sides.”

Brett wants Danica to “retract everything” so they can be “professional and amicable,” even slamming their relationship as “toxic,” which doesn’t seem like a far-fetched adjective to me.
Then, Danica gave her own statement, claiming, “Brett’s version of these events are a complete lie. Brett kept trying to follow me around the party into different rooms and harass me.” Why are they even at a party? We are in the middle of a pandemic.
