During last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Potomac, Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels had a one-on-one lunch… without arguing. They actually managed to have a good time and they hosted an event for Ashley Darby… which completely went south because of Ashley and Candiace Dillard’s unresolved issues.
It was all good in the scenes with Monique and Gizelle. However, in a confessional, Gizelle shared the rumors that Charrisse Jackson-Jordan had been spreading about Monique. We all expect Gizelle to throw people under the bus, so episode 2 of the season is a good of a time to start as any other. Gizelle said that “the word on the street” is that Monique is having an affair with her trainer. Now, Monique’s actually genuine friend Karen Huger is speaking out. Oh, and I’m sure it doesn’t hurt that Karen and Gizelle have been frenemies for years. So, duh, of course, she has Monique’s back.
In a video that realhousewivesfranchise shared, Karen asked, “What the hell is going on? Gizelle co-hosting something with Monique?” I had the same thoughts, Karen. It felt like hell froze over last night.

Karen declared, “Gizelle has been absolutely jealous of Monique since season 1.” For the record, Monique has only been on the show since season 2, but I get what Karen is saying: Gizelle has been envious of Monique right from the jump and we all saw it.

Karen continued, “And, as Monique’s very dear friend, I want her to guard herself against any attempt at fakery or shenanigans that Gizelle might bring her way later. So, when I said, ‘I smelled a skunk, I smelled a skunk.'” I see you, Karen. You are so right. Obviously, Gizelle is going to turn against Monique. This is Gizelle we are talking about, after all.
