I hate to admit this, but I actually teared up when Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak got married. Not because of their love, necessarily, but the part that really got me all choked up was when Kroy gave rings to Kim’s daughters from a previous relationship when he did his vows.
Since then, he adopted Ariana and Brielle Biermann as his own daughters and they changed their last name to his. Yeah, I know that everything Zolciak is very polarizing, but I really thought that was a beautiful thing when he decided to become a father to Kim’s kids.
Brielle shared a photo of herself sitting on Kroy’s lap along with a sweet caption wishing him a happy birthday. Sure, it’s a little bit odd for adult “children” to sit on a parent’s lap, but some Instagram users really took things too far in the comments section, insinuation and straight up accusing Brielle of having an inappropriate relationship with the man she considers to be her father.
One person commented, “Why you sitting on your momma husband lap?” Brielle replied, “Honestly bc I had no where else to sit we were making jokes the whole time about him being Santa it was comedy.”

Another Instagram user wrote, “Tell me they haven’t hooked up.” In response, Brielle wrote, “Do you hook up with your dad?”
Someone else commented, “This image is triggering to people. You can delete this comment. But it’s been posted to Reddit- your favorite hateit site.” Brielle sarcastically responded, “What’s Reddit? And how’s it triggering?”

Thankfully, the comments weren’t all nasty. Some people actually recognized Brielle and Kroy’s relationship for what it actually is. One person commented, “Takes a very special man to adopt children and take them in as their own. You & your sister… your whole FAMILY is so fortunate to have Kroy! What a wonderful human! Happy Birthday, Kroy!”

Someone wrote, “Best man ever!!! For stepping up to the plate! I’ve always admired him for that. My favorite family.” Another commented, “Your relationship melts my heart.”
