The fate of Vanderpump Rules is up in the air. We all know by now that Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute got fired. On top of that, coronavirus has put production on hold. Additionally, the show technically revolves around the restaurants, even though none of these people are actually waitresses anymore.
Nevertheless, we all know Lisa Vanderpump isn’t gonna let them film if there are no plugs for TomTom, SUR, and Pump. And let’s be honest: the show just isn’t as good as it used to be. There are too many people in the cast. Plus, OG cast members are all settled down and that’s great for them, but it doesn’t make for the most exciting TV. I cannot watch the lead-in to a wedding every single season. Talk about a yawn fest.
Katie Maloney spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the future of the show and even she has no clue what’s going on. She said, “I have no idea.” She added, “Every day, I’m being like, ‘Maybe today we’ll get the phone call!’ But, no… I’m hopeful. They haven’t canceled it, so there’s hope still. At least there’s not, like, anything definitive in that regard.” And they all just bought those multi-million dollar homes. That’s some tough timing for financial uncertainty.
Katie remarked, “It’s hard to have a sexy unique show without a Sexy Unique Restaurant.” Yes, SUR is actually an acronym for “Sexy Unique Restaurant.” How cringe-worthy.

Of course, Katie was asked about the possibility of filming the show without Stassi and Kristen. She shared, “I try to picture and think about it, and it’s so weird. It’s weird. Yes, it’s definitely gonna feel different and look different, but it’s not like they’re not a part of my life, you know? So, it’s gonna be weird to have this part of my life that was very much on the show not on the show anymore.”

She continued, “We’ll cross that bridge when we get there.” However, Katie reminded us all, “Again, I don’t even know if we still have a show.”
TELL US- DO YOU THINK VANDERPUMP RULES WILL RETURN FOR ANOTHER SEASON? DO YOU WANT THE SHOW TO RETURN? WILL IT BE “WEIRD” TO WATCH THE SHOW WITHOUT STASSI AND KRISTEN? WOULD YOYU WANT TO WATCH THE SHOW IF THEY STARTED FILMING BEFORE THE RESTAURANTS OPENED UP?
