Aaaand that’s a wrap, again, for Nene Leakes. This icon is taking yet another leave from Real Housewives of Atlanta. We had expected it for a while. And there are already rumors swirling about new Housewives this coming season. But now it’s official.
Garcelle Beauvais is already trying to have Nene swap over to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise. She’s not the only Bravo-leb who’s been reaching out to Nene lately either.
Nene shared screenshots of her incoming texts once news of her departure from the show broke. Queens of Bravo posted the screenshots of the Insta-story so we could all enjoy. Five Bravo-lebs total reached out to Nene and got a share. Let’s start with some of her cast-mates, shall we?
Tanya Sam shared some photos and an unsurprisingly long explanation of where and why they were taken. Her text to Nene started with “Nene Leakes I miss you already my Sagittarius sister! Posting a few pics to honor you and commemorate all that you have done to trail-blaze for me and so many on the show.” Do people usually tell each other before posting photos? This is weird, right? She kept it going with, “So many have watched and tuned into RHOA for years to watch you laugh, slay, and turn up and now I pray the Universe brings you bigger and better adventures!”

There was another screenshot from Nene’s former bestie, Cynthia Bailey. She said, “Nene Leakes. You were heavy on my spirit today.” I can literally head 50cynt saying that now. She went on, “I just want you to know that I wish you a lifetime of love, peace & happiness. You are so deserving of it all. I am excited to see all the amazing things that God has put in place for you as your incredible journey continues.”
Cynthia kept all the positive vibes going. She also said, “Continue to soar beautiful black queen. You are you and that is your power. Originally you and never to be duplicated. May God continue to bless you & your family. Always. Cynthia” I need her to write me some daily motivational quotes or something.

Ashley Darby from the Real Housewives of Potomac franchise reached out as well. She texted, “Thank you for Setting the tone for women of color to have a strong voice on bravo. You really will always be a legend no matter what you choose to do from here on out.” Love that.
Bethenny Frankel’s text was far and away my favorite of the bunch. She sent me with her statement that simply said, “Good luck boo.” I really can’t.

Finally, little sister, Porsha Wiliams started her message with a crying face emoji followed by, “on the real why your video made me tear up. Thank you for everything you have done and the ground you [laid] that I and many other[s] walk on.”
If Porsha is sad, I’m sad. Otherwise, cya later Nene. I hope you enjoy retirement and never return.
