Vanderpump Rules season nine may still be up in the air, but the OG cast members have been anything but quiet as of late. Lala Kent announced she and her sugar daddy Randall Emmett are pregnant and expecting a baby girl. Luckily, Lala already has a supply of baby bottles on hand. Former cast member Stassi Schroeder also announced her pregnancy, and recently had her first interview post firing from Pump Rules for racist behavior. And Katie Maloney has been continuing her ongoing battle to clean up her mean girl image.
In contrast, the newbies on the show have been pretty quiet. Last season, VPR had about fifty new people join the cast, several of which also got let go for racist behavior. Namely Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens. Dayna Kathan, who was part of a love triangle with Max and Brett, has remained mum since the firings. However, she recently came forward to talk smack about someone else on the cast, and it just so happens to be everyone’s favorite punching bag on the show.
Us Weekly reported that on Katie’s podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me, Dayna revealed her frustrations with Jax Taylor, and his treatment of her. There’s no doubt that Jax puts everyone through the ringer, but what could he have done to Dayna? And for once, cheating isn’t on the list.
It started off with a game of “F**k, Marry, Kill,” where Katie gave Dayna the choice between Jax, Tom Sandoval, and Kristen Doute. Everyone picked to marry Tom, right? In the end, this question seemed to trigger Dayna to come forward with her feelings towards Jax. I’m guessing she picked to “kill” him.

Dayna mentioned that Jax still has her “blocked [on social media],” and has “been nothing but an a-hole.” She added, “He blocked me, he’s passive aggressively tweeted about me several times.” Being new besties with Jax’s wife, Brittany Cartwright, hasn’t helped Dayna’s situation with Jax either.
Dayna said, “I love Brittany so much, and she’s been very welcoming to me and we have a great relationship, but even the copious times I’ve been at their home, he’s made a point to try not to make eye contact with me or engage me and whatever, and so I’m just like, ‘You know? F–k you.’ I just don’t care anymore. Like I really don’t.”

It’s unclear what tweets set Dayna off, but Jax has made it known that he is not impressed with the new cast. US Weekly stated Jax had said, “that the episodes ‘wasted so much time on pointless in the moment fighting’ between the newbies.”
Or, perhaps Jax doesn’t like Dayna because she denied hooking up with Peter Madrigal. True or not, the season prior Dayna was clearly shown holding hands with Peter and going into the bathroom with him during a drunken hotel party.

If Dayna expects Jax to change his stripes anytime soon, she will surely be disappointed. Hopefully, she can still be friends with Brittany and not take Jax allegedly ignoring her personally. Either way, if season nine happens, there will definitely be some tension between Jax and Dayna.
