It wasnât exactly shocking when Denise Richards announced her exit from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After a pretty easy first season, her second round was anything but enjoyable.
Kyle Richards made fun of her personal appearance, multiple times. Lisa Rinna turned her back on their friendship of over 20 years. Erika Jayne and Teddi Mellencamp argued with Deniseâs husband Aaron Phypers to avoid talking about their own lives (beyond promoting their business ventures). Dorit Kemsley and Garcelle Beauvais had Deniseâs back, but it wasnât enough for her to stay around. And, you know what, who could blame her?
Brandi Glanvilleâs very detailed claims about their âallegedâ hookup dominated the season, even though Brandi wasnât even a full-time cast member. Actually, Brandi wasnât even a part-time cast member. Instead, she was merely a guest star, thirsting for a diamond.
The women pressured Denise about her reluctance to talk about threesomes in front of her children, which isnât a crazy request, at all. The women pressured Denise to admit to a hookup with Brandi, effectively outing her in such a public manner. But, no one cared about the damage they could cause to Deniseâs life and marriage. It is never OK to out someone, yet they based a whole season on this.

No one wonder Denise just peaced out. Then again, Denise, who was blatantly lying on multiple occasions, just kept rising in popularity (which had to annoy the shit out of the others). She may be on the outs with most of the cast members, but her status as a fan favorite just kept on rising throughout the season. So, maybe that means she will return to reality TV? But, on a different show, obviously.
During a recent interview on The Real, which Garcelle co-hosts now, Denise was asked if she was open to doing reality TV again. According to Us Weekly, Denise told her, âAbsolutely. Never say never. I love that things have changed.â

What has changed? But, letâs not forget that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills isnât Deniseâs first reality TV show. She previously starred on Denise Richards: Itâs Complicated, which also could have been the title for the most recent Beverly Hills season since it was all about Denise, for the most part. However, Denise isnât exactly an open book, so maybe reality TV isnât the best fit for her.
