This season on Real Housewives of New York, we saw Sonja Morgan realize her dream of expanding her clothing brand. RHONY viewers saw Sonja’s line prominently featured at clothing store Century 21.
It was a big success for the woman who was once all in for her toaster oven line. Unfortunately, Century 21 announced in September that it was filing for bankruptcy. Poor Sonja!
It seems that Sonja has been using her quarantine time to get some beauty upgrades. In July, Sonja announced that she had some plastic surgery. “There’s been speculation around my fresh new look. I got a lower facelift and neck lift after wrapping Season 12,” Sonja shared on Instagram. “I just wanted to be rid of the wrinkling on my neck and the jowels that were starting to form. People thought I was nuts because it was so subtle. But not to me!”
Page Six is reporting that Sonja recently had another cosmetic procedure. Dr. Ramtin Kassir gave Sonja a nonsurgical rhinoplasty known as a “liquid nose job.” So, what exactly is a liquid nose job?

Dr. Kassir said, “It’s filler in the nose. She has a little bit of a bump, it’s a little crooked and it’s a little long. What we do is we straighten it, shorten it, and lift it all with filler.”
Patients see the results right away, which makes it an attractive nonsurgical option. “It lasts one to two years,” Dr. Kassir explained. “There is no downtime, no recovery, no pain meds.”

Dr. Kassir, who is a board-certified cosmetic and plastic surgeon, has been performing liquid nose jobs since 2006. He has also performed the procedure on Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita.
And Sonja is no stranger to liquid nose jobs. She has been getting them for a decade. Dr. Kassir remarked, “The Sonja you’ve seen for the last 10 years, her nose, I’ve been doing it.”

Apparently, the RHONY star is also scheduled to have a septoplasty, which is a surgical procedure that straightens the cartilage and bone dividing the space between the nostrils. Dr. Kassir said, “[The facelift] has nothing to do with what we do to the nose, but she said now that her neck and face are cleaned up, her nose stands out even more, so she came in to do it.”
He added, “It will make her nostrils more symmetrical. Fillers only work on the outside to make it smoothed out from the outside.” Apparently, Sonja will have local anesthesia and be “wide awake” for the surgical procedure. Hell no! I am not in favor of being awake during any surgery of any kind.

“She’s a good patient. She’s not dramatic,” the surgeon shared. “She follows instructions.”
Sonja is obviously having these improvements to feel her best, but is there another reason, too? Sonja has hired a matchmaker, and she is in the market for a particular type of man. “I’m not looking for a man to take care of me. I want to be spoiled, and I want to get pounded and s**tfaced, but at home. In private,” Sonja said. I admire the fact that Sonja knows exactly what she wants. You go, girl!
