Based on recent interview comments, this season of Real Housewives of Orange County is shaping up to be everyone vs. Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
Emily Simpson revealed that every single cast member unfollowed Braunwyn on social media for her own reasons. Braunwyn confirmed that she’s not on speaking terms with anyone in the cast. So, what’s going on?
During a recent appearance on Us Weekly‘s Getting Real With the Housewives podcast, Braunwyn was asked, “Were you invited to Kelly [Dodd]’s wedding?”
Braunwyn responded, “Oh gosh, no, Kelly and I are not speaking. We are diametrically opposed in our ideology right now. I believe Black Lives Matter and she believes Drunk Wives Matter. And that’s something that I don’t funny. I’ve forgiven her a lot for her big mouth over the years. Like ‘Oh, that’s just Kelly,’ but now we’re at the point where she is attacking people and it’s more than I can be around.”

She also revealed a bit of good news. She is back on speaking terms with Shannon Beador after publicly revealing that she wasn’t talking to any of her co-stars. Braunwyn said, ”
After that came out, Shannon did reach out to me and Shannon wrote something very, very sweet that I appreciated a lot because I did feel ostracized. When I left the finale, I left speaking to everyone. I had no clue. I had been very kind.” She has no idea what happened? Very interesting.

Braunwyn continued, “Kelly, I wasn’t surprised about because of our ideology, but the rest of the cast, wow. I will probably find out what happened when you did because I left the finale early.”
“I’m 42. If someone unfollows me on Instagram, I’m not gonna ask them why. I don’t know why, but that’s weird,” Braunwyn remarked.

Braunwyn didn’t ask why she got unfollowed. However, she has some assumptions, revealing, “I have a guess. Emily and Kelly are both very conservative. They’re both Trump supporters. I’m very vocal on my Instagram about what my beliefs are and I understand that a lot of people don’t like that. I’m sure they’re not the only people that unfollowed me.”
When she was asked, “Do you feel like some of the women maybe pulled back because of you going through sobriety,” Braunwyn said, “Yes. I think you see it play out on camera. I think with some people it touched a little too close to home.”

Braunwyn had no response other than laughter when she was asked to share her thoughts on Orange County newbie Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, adding, “I think that’s best, yeah.”
