Southern Charm really feels like it is missing Cameran Eubanks. She was the classy, mature one in the group who had her life organized since the series premiere. Cameran was a good friend to her cast mates, and side-stepped any conflict by simply choosing not to engage.
Despite her friendship with the cast, there was one person that Cameran always kept at arms length. Rightly so perhaps. Drama and rumors swirled around Kathryn Dennis since her involvement with Thomas Ravenel to the current season. Kathryn was also behind the rumor that Cameran’s husband Jason Wimberly was having an affair. This vicious gossip is the reason that Cameron left the show. Now, Cameran’s friend and cast successor Leva Bonaparte is sharing her opinion regarding her departure.
Leva became a regular on the show this season, but made brief appearances over the years. Leva was aware of the internal drama and was meant to be costarring with Cameran and being her support system on the show.
However, Cameran backed out due to the infidelity rumors surrounding her husband. Rather than deal with the situation, she left, despite the fact that the rest of the cast did not believe the affair happened.
Leva told Entertainment Tonight that Cameran should have returned to deal with the situation.

“Cameran and I have been friends for over a decade,” Leva said, “I know her very well, and for me as a friend, I was like, ‘C’mon, march your butt out here and handle this business!'”
Leva acknowledged that Cameran tends to avoid conflict. It’s definitely something viewers can attest to. Cameran once turned down an opportunity to mend fences with Kathryn. She simply did not want engage in further drama.
“She didn’t want to deal with it, and that’s her personality,” Leva said, “she’s not a confrontational girl.”

Will Leva be a confrontational girl? Hopefully, because the show certainly needs someone to rein Kathryn in.
