Real Housewives of Dallas will be back in January for Season 5. A majority of the upcoming season was shot in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, which means that fans can expect for the parties and vacations to be scaled back.
However, having a more low key party or vacation is hardly an actual problem, by any stretch of the imagination. Too many people have lost their lives and lost family members to coronavirus. Others have had lingering, possibly long-term effects, following their experiences with coronavirus as well. Unfortunately, Dallas Housewife D’Andra Simmons is currently battling covid-19.
New Real Housewives of Dallas cast member Jennifer Davis shared in her Instagram Story, “Please pray for D’Andra Simmons. She has covid, is in the ICU on Oxygen,” according to a screenshot shared by Mention It All About Bravo.
D’Andra’s representative confirmed her coronavirus diagnosis to Page Six. Her representative said, “Her oxygen levels were borderline and she will start Remdesivir. At this time we ask you to respect her and family’s privacy and to send your prayers for a speedy recovery.”

She was admitted to the coronavirus ward at the UT Southwestern Hospital. As of this moment, the Bravo network declined to comment on D’Andra’s health. D’Andra hasn’t addressed her diagnosis on social media. And, other than Jennifer, none of D’Andra’s co-stars have publicly commented on it.
We are hoping that D’Andra fully recovers in the very near future. We are sending the most positive vibes possible in D’Andra’s direction for herself, her family, and her close friends.
