Real Housewives of New York star, Sonja Morgan, has kept herself quite busy with self-improvements since the latest season wrapped. Fans had noticed that Sonja was a bit out of sorts during season twelve of RHONY. Sure, Sonja is known for over-partying, but she didn’t quite look her normal-self either. So, Sonja decided to remedy the situation.
Since the show wrapped, Sonja got a liquid nose job, and a lower face lift and neck lift. Thankfully Sonja’s finished look was amazing, and did not turn out to be the usual housewife plastic surgery disaster. Sonja also worked some internal magic, giving herself an extra glow to her skin. She took lots of vitamins, and relieved herself three to four times a day. Good thing she has the extra time! Amid all that work, Sonja also made time during this Christmas season to help others as well.
Unfortunately, Sonja isn’t handing out free glow-ups to fans in order to look as fabulous as her. Still, she is doing something else very generous for others during Christmas. If you work in the service industry, you might have had your day brightened by Sonja.
PageSix reported that Sonja, “has given ‘at least’ $10,000 in cash gifts and tips this holiday season — to everyone from restaurant owners to her psychic.” Did Sonja tip her facialist too? She definitely deserved it as she was an integral part of dishing up drama when she spilled about Sonja and Luann de Lesseps‘ love life to Kristen Taekman.

Sonja noted that she, “used to buy people stocks, but they sold them — so now I give cash.” This cash gift also includes treating her interns, past and present. Go, Pickles! So, who else benefits from Sonja’s goodwill?
Sonja shared, “I always tip the restaurants for the holidays … $50 for everybody, or $100. I tip the kitchen, the dishwasher, the bar-backs, the managers.” Hopefully, Ramona Singer is learning from her friend. Ramona is notorious for not tipping well and for calling staff, “servants.”

Restaurants were a main focus of Sonja’s gifting due to Covid. Sonja said, “After this peak [in virus cases] right now, who knows how many will be open? I’m feeling their pain. It’s horrible…I drop by the restaurants but they’re closed. So I call and text them asking, ‘Where are you?’ So I’m mailing checks out as we speak.”
It’s no surprise that the RHONY housewife that likes to have the most fun, is also the most festive of the group. Sonja is not only helping herself, but many others in need. Hopefully, the other housewives are watching and will also be giving throughout the year.
