Real Housewives of Orange County is over. It ended on the beach with a womp womp from producers and editors. They said without really saying, “we tried it without Tamra Judge. Replaced her with real live charisma vacuum, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. And we know, it didn’t work.” The whole series needs an overhaul.
None of these women are natural together. The only thing they have in common is not liking Braunwyn Windham-Burke. The reunion was hard to watch. There was a lot of deflection from every single woman on stage, except Gina Kirschenheiter. Kelly Dodd is not a Covidiot, she’s Black! Braunwyn isn’t a mess. She just had seven kids with her husband because she’s an alcoholic! Emily Simpson does too support LGBTQ people. She went to a club with drag queens that one time! Deflections and irrationality everywhere, and Gina is happy to call it out.
Last week on Watch What Happens Lives with Andy Cohen, Gina answered questions about the RHOC reunion. Her hair on point, she responded to a fan question that asked, “what did you make of Braunwyn accusing Shannon [Beador] and John [Janssen] of having drinking problems? Was it deflection or genuine concern?”
Gina responded saying, “I mean it’s hard with Braunwyn. Basically most of what I think she does in her life is a deflection.” Truth. “But,” she continued, “I do think there was some genuine concern in there somewhere.” Of course there was. Shannon has been on RHOC seven seasons, and each season someone has accused her of alcoholism. Just saying!

Gina clarified her point however, adding, “I also think, like [Braunwyn] just came out as an alcoholic, this isn’t the time to now go around telling everyone else that they’re an alcoholic. It’s not the right thing to do.” Sure, don’t point the finger at innocent people. But is Shannon innocent of drinking too much? Those 3 am phone calls to Gina say something else.
Gina and Braunwyn appeared to end things amicably at the reunion. Who knows what these comments will dredge up. All I know is that I can’t wait to see what happens with casting. The only way I’ll watch with renewed interest is if they bring back Lynne Curtin.

TELL US- WHERE DOES RHOC GO FROM HERE? WHO SHOULD STAY? WHO SHOULD GO? IS THERE ANYONE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE BACK FROM EARLIER SEASONS?
