Braunwyn Windham-Burke showed up to the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion expecting to be skewered. And skewered she was. Her castmates have been less than impressed with her all season and the reunion was no exception.
One of the season’s major plot points was that Braunwyn was a liar and a shit stirrer. Our first example came about when Braunwyn accused Shannon Beador of calling cast member Gina Kirschenheiter’s house “sad”. After that, Shannon denied it, and Gina took her side. Subsequently, Gina went on to accuse Braunwyn of being a drunk and never remembering anything right anyway. So Gina had a major bone to pick with Braunwyn, despite them making up later in the season. You know how that goes. They make up on the show, watch it and then get pissed all over again.
So it’s no surprise that Gina has been bringing the heat against Braunwyn recently. She even accused her of being a narcissist. Oof. Not that anyone else on RHOC would disagree. Hell, I don’t even think most of the fans would disagree. Even Braunwyn admitted on the reunion that she might be addicted to the fame of it all.
But one of the most shocking revelations from the reunion came when Shannon told us that Braunwyn approached her teenage daughter at a party and told her she had a good dealer if she wanted some drugs. After that, a tearful Braunywn admitted it, much to the cast members’ surprise. Gina talked about her reaction to the incredible allegation on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Host Andy Cohen asked Gina what she thought about it. Gina responded with a long sigh, “That’s bad. It was bad.” She continued, “I think that, you know, Braunwyn doesn’t deny it and I mean, people who have alcoholism, you know, they do really bad things.” Gina concluded, “It was a really bad thing she did.”
I don’t think anyone would disagree with Gina. And while Gina seems to be giving Braunwyn grace for being an alcoholic at the time, it’s hard to understand why Braunwyn would do something so heinous. I’m honestly wondering if Braunwyn can come back from this. Villain or not, offering your castmate’s child drugs is a serious offense and should be treated as such. But do we actually think anything will happen given how much Braunwyn is bringing to the table to RHOC now?

Something tells me she will be back next season. And while I highly enjoy the drama, let’s hope she keeps it between her and her cast members. Not their kids.
