Real Housewives of Orange County fans have seen glimpses of Kelly Dodd’s new husband Rick Leventhal on the most recent season. He wasn’t involved in any drama, but his daughter Veronica Leventhal, has been calling Kelly out. Very Publicly. After Kelly yelled “I’m Black” at the RHOC reunion, Veronica said, “I don’t think it’s okay for people who say they’ve experienced racism or prejudice to then turn around and inflict that same bigotry on other people. I don’t think you can experience the privileges of whiteness and then turn around and deny that those privileges exist.”
Veronica also said, “I don’t think that you can claim ownership on a culture or a nationality and then disallow privileges to those people, either through certain political perspectives or just subjugating them in other ways.” And, after that, she commented on her dad and new stepmom during a podcast interview. On top of that, apparently, Kelly and Rick can’t get in touch with her these days.
According to Us Weekly, Veronica spoke her mind on the Shut Up Evan podcast. Veronica admitted to being a “huge Kelly Dodd fan” before her dad started dating Kelly. Veronica also described Kelly’s personality as “warm.”
Veronica also saw that she doesn’t want to be on the show, but she doesn’t mind if Kelly and Rick continue appearing on the show. OK. That interview didn’t say much. It wasn’t nearly as scathing as her previous rant. But, why do the interview in the first place? In an Instagram Story, Kelly theorized, “Do you think she’s just seeking attention?”

In response to Veronica speaking out, yet again, Kelly made fun of her “stupid tree tattoo” in a now-deleted tweet.
Kelly also tweeted,”We love you Veronica and we wish you would stop talking about us publicly ..you won’t answer our calls . I have to resort to this tweet . thank you.” She also included some red heart emojis.
