The one time Cameran Eubanks had a storyline on Southern Charm was the season she never actually appeared on. In her absence, the cast talked about the rumors that Cameran’s husband Jason Wimberly cheated on her.
There was also speculation that she left the show because of the cheating rumors. Now that Cameran has a book to promote, she has been exploiting the show that she contributed nothing to she’s been doing a lot of interviews.
During an episode of Reality Life With Kate Casey, Cameran said, “Filming a reality television show is a unique experience. Believe it or not though, I feel more bonded to my Real World castmates than I do with [my] Southern Charm [co-stars].” Ah, I miss Real World. With 352,646,133 reality TV shows on television and streaming platforms these days, can we get this show back on TV? That weird FacebookWatch thing did not count, at least not in my book.
It’s very interesting how Cameran feels a strong bond to co-stars she filmed with for months than a group she filmed with for years. Then again, the Real World people did live in the same house.
Reflecting on her Real World experience, Cameran said, “It was such a hands-off experience that felt to me, truly, unique, special, and just very authentic. It felt very authentic to me.”

When she was asked about what she’s been watching on TV during the pandemic, Cameran revealed, “We actually cut cable. We have Netflix and Disney+. I made the decision after the whole Jason debacle happened.” That’s pretty drastic. She stopped subscribing to cable because of a rumor. Interesting.
Cameran recalled, “I was like ‘I’m not gonna watch the show for my mental health because it’s just gonna upset me.’ So, to this day, I haven’t seen an episode. Of course, I’ve been told about it, all the time. I pretty much can tell you exactly what’s happened.” Lol, right. As if she has no idea what’s been happening this season. I find it hard to believe that any former reality star can just disconnect from their show, especially when she finally has a storyline.

Then, Cameran shared, “Whitney [Sudler-Smith] sent me one [episode]. He emailed me one of the episodes and was like ‘You gotta watch this.’ So, I’ve seen one.”
“The reality TV that’s on now, it seems every year, it gets more toxic,” Cameran concluded after making a career from reality TV for over a decade.
