We didn’t get to see it on the show, but Lisa Barlow allegedly threatened Whitney Rose that she would expose her as a “swinger” on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Whitney denied being a swinger and Lisa denied saying it.
However, they just never got on the same page all season, except for a tiny bit in Las Vegas. Now, Lisa is sharing her side of the story, which includes doubling down on her denial and throwing some shade in Whitney’s direction.
Lisa recently appeared on the Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast. The host started to ask, “Will you ever get over Whitney saying that you…” And, before he could even finish the question, Lisa claimed, “I don’t think about it. Is that bad?” No, but considering how quick she was to answer the question, it does seem like she thinks about it.
After that, Lisa claimed, “I mean, I’m gonna be totally honest, I don’t care. You know, like I never called Whitney a swinger. Whatever Whitney thinks is happening and reality are two different things. And it’s not my problem.”

She claimed, “When I saw the trailer for the first episode, I immediately texted Whitney…. and said ‘Whitney, I don’t think you’re a swinger’ and she goes ‘I can’t believe they aired that.’ And I go ‘I can. Because you said it. You said it, so you created the life for [the storyline].'”
Lisa insisted, “I never accused Whitney of being a swinger, like I don’t even care. Like, I think it’s weird to accuse someone of calling you something. Who knows where it started and where it ended up, but when she’s sitting there, talking with Heather [Gay], I don’t know what she’s talking about.” Again, she promised, “Like, I’ve never had that conversation with you.”

Then, Lisa took it upon herself two theorize, “When Whitney finds her own identity, I think Whitney will be a much happier person. I don’t think Whitney knows who Whitney is and the fact that I know who I am is like upsetting to her.”
Then, Lisa claimed, “So, when she figures it out with her, and that everything I say comes out like [from] a big sister… I want the best for people. So when I say something, it’s not to hurt you, it’s to help you.” Sure. Lisa just wants to help Whitney. I never got that vibe, but OK.
“It’s a lot of projecting, I think for both her and Heather,” Lisa declared. She concluded, “Maybe they’re gonna learn something about themselves. It doesn’t impact me though.” Sure it doesn’t.
