We’ve seen Real Housewives (and former Housewives) on Below Deck charters, including Cynthia Bailey, Alexis Bellino, and Kary Brittingham (pre-Real Housewives of Dallas). What would it be like if they were actually cast members, working long hours and wearing khaki skorts? It would certainly be a short-lived experience, but it would probably be interesting to watch.
We’ve seen Bravolebrities pretend to be waitresses at SUR, but there’s no faking it on one of these Below Deck charters. They really do have work to do. Could you imagine a Real Housewife rocking one of those polyester polo shirts? Below Deck alum Kate Chastain sure can. She’s even come up with some names to be her second and third stew.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Kate theorized, “Gizelle [Bryant], I think, would make a great second stew.” Of course, Kate knows the Real Housewives of Potomac OG cast member from their roles hosting Bravo’s Chat Room. Kate explained, “I think she’s very supportive. I think she’d be fantastic at the job.” I mean, those Below Deck uniforms would definitely be a step up for Gizelle in the fashion department, which isn’t saying too much. Obviously.
And, who does Kate want for her third stew? Surprisingly, she said, “Sonja Morgan would just make me laugh.” She went on to clarify, “I don’t really think she’d be amazing at the job, but man she’d make me laugh.” That’s for sure. Sonja manages to make every situation into something humorous/entertaining.

Although Kate would love to have Sonja on her Bravolebrity crew, she named one of Sonja’s Real Housewives of New York co-stars as the “worst” possible stew. She explained, “I definitely think that we can all agree that Ramona Singer would not be great.”
Kate said, “She would probably not want to unpack the luggage for other people. She doesn’t even like to do it for herself!” Oh, we are all familiar with Ramona’s vacation behavior. She’s an absolute terror. Maybe being on the other side of things might make her change her behavior. Oh, yeah right. Who am I kidding? Ramona will never evolve.
