It could have been really interesting to have Dolores Catania and Dina Manzo on Real Housewives of New Jersey at the same time. They’re both close with Teresa Giudice. Dolores is close with Dina’s estranged sister Caroline Manzo, who Teresa can’t stand.
The Manzo ladies in the mix with Dolores could have blessed us all with some fiery arguments, especially since Dolores is not a fan of Dina’s.
During an appearance on the Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino podcast, Dolores said, “I was [an] original cast member and it wasn’t the right time for me. And, I decided not to do it and Danielle [Staub] took my place.” This was something that Dina confirmed as well. So, at least they agree on one thing.
Dolores shared, “I speak to Caroline and Jacqueline [Laurita]. And [Jacqueline’s daughter] Ashlee Holmes. And the Manzo kids [Albie Manzo, Chris Manzo, and Lauren Manzo].”

When podcast host Danny Pellegrino mentioned the idea of Dina returning to Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dolores said, “Well, Dina lives in California now. So, I don’t think Dina.” When Danny pressed further, suggesting that Dina could “pop in,” Dolores told him, “No, it’s boring.” I have to agree. Dina wasn’t the most exciting Housewife. But, then again, Dolores has the same storyline almost every season and I still love her.
Danny asked, “Are you guys not good anymore?” Somehow, he wasn’t picking up on the many hints that Dolores dropped about Dina. Nevertheless, she confirmed, “Not really. She’s not my cup of tea. You know? No, no, no.” No, we don’t know, but would love to hear.

Dolores vaguely explained, “You know, we just went our separate ways. I guess. You know?” No, again, we don’t know.
After that, Dolores threw some shade, teasing, “Some people like to move on from another life and leave what’s behind them, for a reason, I guess. Whatever that reason is, maybe they think you know too much about them. Or maybe they’re not who they say they are. Whatever the case is….”
Danny asked, “What do you know about her?” And in response, Dolores responded with “Who cares?” I care. And I’m so interested to know more.
