Yesterday, there was a Real Housewives of New Jersey marathon on Bravo and I just happened to tune in to the scene with Teresa Giudice telling her cousins Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri that she wants to “cut the cancer out,” but that her “door is always open” if they really needed something. She basically fired them from the show at that moment.
Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga sided with Teresa (this one time) and that was the last season we saw Kathy. Recently, Kathy’s daughter Victoria Wakile got married and there was an Instagram post addressing Joe and Melissa’s “absence” from the wedding. Fans who pay attention never actually expected the Gorgas to be there, so the headline itself didn’t make many waves. However, Kathy’s son Joseph Wakile responded with “Lmao we cut those farm animals out of our life years ago that’s why they weren’t in attendance.”
Andy Cohen caught wind of that remark, telling Melissa “I read about this” with his mouth open in shock during last night’s Watch What Happens Live. He read a question from a fan who asked, “What’s the current status of your relationship with Kathy and Richie Wakile? What did you think of their son calling you and your husband ‘farm animals’ on Instagram?”
Melissa began, “I mean, to be honest, I hope we’re goats.” No, she didn’t use that moment to make a pun about “GOAT” being an acronym for “greatest of all time,” like I thought she was going to when she started that sentence. Instead, she said she hoped this because “the goats are so cute. Like, I hope he thinks I’m a little baby goat if he picks an animal.”

After that, Melissa said, “But, ummm, you know what, I know they’re a little sour about not being on the show any longer. It’s unfortunate, to be honest. I wish them all, I wish them well. I love the Wakile children. And I’m so happy for Victoria. She looked like a beautiful bride. So, I don’t know. I think there’s a little sourness there that they’re not on the show any more.” Just “a little” sourness?
Andy started to say, “I was surprised that it came from their son Joseph and not…. ” He couldn’t finish that sentence, but we could all tell where his head was at.

“It was very shocking because I’ve always had like a great relationship with him too,” Melissa claimed. Then, she tried to distance herself from the shade, saying, “There’s a part of me that’s like ‘The question got misconstrued. They definitely meant Joe and Teresa. Like the two Gorgas, which it could have been because I can’t picture him saying that [about me], to be honest. But, I know there’s hard feelings between the whole family and I get it. It is what it is.”
I’m just wondering if Joseph is going to clap back again.
