Bravo is really missing out on a sure-fire hit. Instead of doing an all-star show featuring popular Housewives, they need to do a show featuring the wives who have faced fraud charges. It would be a pretty large cast at this point. Maybe they could have matching orange pjs for girl’s night! Real Housewives of Beverly Hills songstress Erika Jayne would certainly be on the bill, as she continues to battle claims of embezzlement with her soon-to-be-ex Tom Girardi.
During these trying times we must remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, despite damning evidence to the contrary. Erika is just a girl, with a weave, standing in front of a judge, trying to avoid jail. But she’s also trying to avoid missing out on getting some fun money since Big Tommy conveniently misplaced around $80 million. Poor ‘ol Tom is being bounced from the Pasadena Palace he shared with Erika in an effort to pay off some of his debt. Now Erika is stepping in because she wants a piece of that Pasadena mansion pie.
If you’ve been playing along at home, Erika claims to be divorcing Tom due to his cheating past and totally not because they are attempting to hide years of SUSPECTED fraudulent activity attached to Tom’s attorney client list. One of the last things Tom did before ALLEGEDLY succumbing to possible health issues was make moves to strike down any alimony in EJ’s direction.
Erika still has her Bravo paycheck, but it would probably be safe to say residuals from How Many Fucks? could only buy her lunch from KFC. Erika tried to sell her old designer duds online for extra cash, but the judge presiding over the embezzlement case put an end to that money-making effort. Since it doesn’t look like Broadway will be beckoning her name once the lights come back on, Erika needs some money to live. Unfortunately now that Tom is out of the ALLEGED business of funneling funds into her corporate account, Erika is trying to get that house cash.

According to Radar Online, Erika donned her running shoes and hoofed it to federal court to demand she receives a cut from the sale of her former home. Court documents show the trustee presiding over Big Tommy’s bankruptcy is in the process of putting the manse up for sale and putting Tommy on the streets. The money from the sale will be used to pay off some of the people who were cheated out of their funds, ALLEGEDLY. But, Erika is pissed because the trustee didn’t allot any cashola for her.
Erika’s camp states California law allows her to stake a claim in the property. This is because she’s still going through the divorce. She wants the bankruptcy court to only allow the sale if the deal “provides for the preservation of Erika’s rights and to exempt property and its proceeds”. Oh Tom – how could you do this to us, question mark? Poor Erika is out here living like a peasant in 2,015 square foot home like a commoner. Probably has to her own driving like… Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, GOD FORBID. Won’t anyone think of the glam squad? Stay tuned, the judge has yet to rule on her request.
