The new (and somewhat improved?) Southern Charm has a mind of its own. Madison LeCroy and Austen Kroll’s messy relationship has brought a ton of new drama into the mix that has us saying Thomas Ravenel who? And while the show started off as being an inside look into Charleston’s elite, now real-life athletes and A-Listers are getting in the mix, making the whole storyline even juicier.
As we know, Madison apparently has a thing for athletes. She allegedly signed an NDA after FaceTiming with Alex Rodriguez, who is engaged to the Jennifer Lopez by the way. She’s also claimed that she and Jay Cutler had a thing, but that might have just been a total dig at Austen. He and Craig Conover become close friends with Kristin Cavallari, so Madison was doing what she does best — fighting with him about it.
All of the new drama came at a time when OG cast members were exiting the show for good. It had us wondering if any of these new players would make their Southern Charm debut next season. And Craigy made it seem like now that Kristin has bid adieu to Very Cavallari, she might be eyeing a move to Charleston. He hinted that once he opens his flagship store for Sewing Down South, she might make a cameo.
“I hope so. It’s not ruled out at all,” he said. “If they’re at the party, then yeah. I think some of our friends from the past six months, you’ll get to see a decent amount of them, which will be really fun.”

However, in a recent interview with Us Weekly, Kristin is shutting down Craig’s little rumor about her on the show. “They say, ‘Never say never,’ but I can confidently say I’m never going to do Southern Charm ,” Kristin said. “I love Craig. I don’t know! I don’t know why he was saying that stuff.”
Maybe it’s because Madison is vying to get Jay to appear on the show, and Kristin wants nothing to do with it. I mean after the messy on-screen divorce they went through, you can’t really blame her for keeping her distance.

And unless she lives under a rock, it’s obvious she knows a bit about the Madison and Austen saga, so she’s probably trying to stay as far away as possible. Again, you can’t blame her. Would you want to get in the middle of their mess? Maybe if you’re Shep Rose you do.
