As this season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta comes to an end, the real star of the show has proven time and time again to be Bolo the stripper. He was the main source of drama throughout the season. Kenya Moore has been on a mission to expose Porsha Williams and Tanya Sam for sleeping with the stripper at Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party. Porsha and Tanya have denied it and won’t fess up. Bolo caused some tension between Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali as well, thanks to some booty poppin on a coffee table. At the reunion, a Bolo mannequin was even present on stage to convey his importance to the storyline.
What RHOA really needs, like Marlo Hampton suggests, is Phaedra Parks back. Phae is a master at stirring the pot and make Atlanta dramatic again. It was rumored she was going to replace COVID Bailey last season, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. We could’ve saw Phaedra and Twirl unpack their drama surrounding Apollo Nida. She could’ve been involved in the amends made between Porsha and Kandi Burruss, even though she was the reason for the feud in the first place. Truly, so many moments would’ve been better with Phaedra there. Maybe next year.
Because she’s such an icon, Phaedra appeared on a special episode of Watch What Happens Live featuring housewives from the past. And boy did she have a lot to say. For one, she dropped the bomb that she was actually the first RHOA woman to bring Bolo on the show. Even Andy Cohen’s jaw dropped.
The truth was revealed when Andy asked Phae if she knew Bolo, since she was the one who brought ReDickulous to the show for Kandi’s birthday back in the day. “I introduced you all to Bolo,” she said. “I brought Bolo to the housewives.” Exactly why she’s an icon legend queen. “Remember when I made her my old-fashioned pound cake? I brought him as well.” I NEED this woman back on my TV screen every week. I don’t care what it takes.

Bravo proceeded to show a clip of Kandi, Phaedra and the one and only Sheree Whitfield getting massaged by three shirtless men. Based on the characters involved, it was obviously a hilarious blast from the past that made everyone miss the old days of Atlanta. Bloops, bad wigs and all.
Phaedra is truly the gift that keeps on giving. She walked so Misstress Angel Kandi could run and throw 50 Cynt the best bachelorette party of all time. She’s also responsible for the whole Bolo situation, and indirectly his new venture into acting. And while it’s not clear if she and Kandi will ever be on good terms again, let alone appear on the same show. But Bravo fans can dream, can’t we?
